Great... now Krazy Kelly will look at this as a success and keep Linn around.

Yep, backing into the playoffs with a losing record is a success in anyone's book.

Well, atleast they finished the season in decent fashion going 5-3 and finally breaking the century mark in their 100-83 win over the Phoenix Mercury.

That's somewhat encouraging anyway. Hopefully, their positive winning record to end the season will crossover into the post-season.

I would hope not, but I don't have too much faith in the franchise that hired Dunn in the first place.

Well, the Shock won't have Chryl Ford this time around...

problem is, they aren't missing her that much after they acquired (stole) McWilliams-Franklin from Washington...

If the Fever had a better coach, they probably would have a good chance of upsetting Detroit. That's not the case, unfortunately. So the Fever will be lucky to win a game in the series.

Hopefully Tamika doesn't get injured this time.

Live from the game.... Lin Dunn sucks. They dusted us off like we didn't belong in the league. The only good that came out of this game for me was Reggie Miller was in the luxury box right behind me. I'll add the blurry camera phone pic shortly.

We may actually be stronger with McWilliams-Franklin instead of Cheryl Ford. Never thought I'd say that....

Yeah, I have to give the Shock and Bill Laimbeer their due. They played the game last night like they knew what they were doing. Every time I watched us on defense, Detroit just carved us up like the bird on Thanksgiving. In the first half, they got into the lane anytime they wanted. Heck, I don't recall them having to take many jumpshots at all.

On the offensive side of the ball, we looked lost. We have 3 high end players. Only one of them got the ball with any regularity. I noticed that Catch would always end up with the ball in situations where she would have to give the ball up instead of getting it to be able to make a play to either score or set someone else up. Katie Douglas wasn't utilized well, at all. We never ran any plays on offense to get our stars open looks. We were stuck just passing the ball around the outside to get what Detroit wanted to leave us.... JUMPSHOTS!!! It almost seemed like we didn't want to bother with getting to the rack.

I know that the last coach wasn't the best coach, granted. But Lin Dunn looked lost out there and she needs to be fired before we lose the talented players that we have.

No Jim, they're over as far as the Fever is concerned!

I second this. Just because we won a game against Detroit, doesn't mean Dunn is worthy of keeping her job.

Well, considering when I checked the score we were losing 7-30 I'm just hoping they fire Dunn at half time.

Yeah, my bad. Obviously that was written before I had checked the score. Detroit's up by even more now, I think 30.

Hopefully, the Sparks vs Storm will be more of a game later.

This is exactly the kind of loss we needed to get Dunn fired.

how in the hell can a team not be prepared for what Detroit brought tonight.

    A) Laim Beers teams always play overly physical and he obviously was going to have them inspired since he was pissed off about the injury and lack of response. (However, i just have to laugh when his agressive teams get pushed back and he whines....some things never change)

    B) Teams a man down always rise up and play tough.

We should've come out with extreme physical play and been prepared for what they brought.

SO YES, why is Dunn our coach?!

Makes you wonder how they won on Sunday.

Maybe they had a players only meeting where they decided humiliation was the only way to get rid of her.
