    Default Vegas odds for the 2005 NBA champion.....

    Lakers 9-5
    Spurs 9-2
    Kings 11-2
    T-Wolves 13-2
    Pistons 9-1

    as listed on ESPN radio. ed:

    I assume the Pacers are somewhere in the 6-8 range......

    It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

    So, who won the title again? Every time I turn on ESPN, they're talking about the Lakers. I could of sworn I heard somewhere that they lost.



    [edit] Wow, the Pacers odds to win next year are 6-to-8! A $14 return on $8 isn't much to get excited about. Vegas must know already know we're getting TMac, or something.

    I really, really hate to say this, but perhaps it is we Pacers fans that will never learn. Hopefully, Donnie and Larry will make some big time deals and make it obvious ... undeniably so.

    Pretty funny.

    I don't know as the Pistons will have a dynasty or not but for my money the existing champion, if they don't blow up the team, should pretty much be the favorite going in.

    The Pistons dynasty will begin in about 3 years if Darko lives up to his billing. That's when life for the rest of the league could get scary.
