Thread: Bears or Pats?

    Default Bears or Pats?

If you had the choice to go the Bears game (first regular season game ever at LOS) or the Pats game (we all love to hate them), which would go to? Go to the game with most historical significance or against the hated rivals?
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

I'm guessing you have a choice, and that's why you're asking?

You gotta go to the Pats game I think. There is just too much history and so much at stake in that game, IMO. The Colts should cream the Bears, but the Pats game should be very intense and close. Besides, Manning probably won't be 100% for the first game.

It would be cool to go to the first "real" game at Lucas, but I don't think you could ever pass a Pats game up.

    Pats.

The odds of seeing a historical game are much greater against the Pats than the Bears. Win or lose the Bears game will likely be a footnote or trivia question with the score all but forgotten to history. The Pats is a rivalry game between two teams with larger dreams.
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

I hope I can go to both, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the Pats game.

I really want to be at the first game in Lucas Oil, but I'd still go with the Pats game.

V s the Pats, sure the first regular season game there would be cool to go to...but id rather go to a more competitive game which will be Vs the Pats. More bang for your buck imo

Well, I do love Neckbeard. So maybe ...

I will be going to the Jacksonville tilt. If it wasn't for Belichick, I'd hate the Jags more than the Pats.

If you think that Peyton is well enough to play wouldn't you rather go to the Bears game and see Kyle Orton?

Pats, easy. But then, I've already been to the first game at Lucas Oil (Noblesville vs. Fishers.) The lure of going to the, what, 9th game in the new stadium holds little appeal to me.

But they were the first team to punt in the stadium. And the first to throw an interception.
