salaries match in the 125% range so the trade would work under CBA rules if I'm correct
I could live with the trade most of it being Varejao has one year less on his contract and could even leave sooner because of his player option. as far as talent his concerned he is basically a younger Jeff with more hair and flopping, not sur he gives us the low post scroing we're supposedly looking for
now on the Cavs' side I'm an optimistic and could see them gamble on Tinsly basing themselves on his past (I mean few years ago) but the chances are pretty slim
still Cleveland remains one of our most likely trading partners for Tinman IMO

If we made that move, it would only be for the sake of moving Tinsley. Flopajeo doesn't bring anything to this roster that we don't already have.

True, but in exchange for our garbage, another effective hustling rebounder isn't too shabby. I guess he's not a true 7 footer but he'd add inside depth. Maybe even allow us to move Rasho's expiring more readily if we so choose.
I'd rather die standing up than live on my knees.

Supposedly the Cavs tried to trade Verajao to a few teams but he has the right to veto the trades which he did. I think he has the right to do that until December 5th. Anyway Cleveland could get much more for Andy.
The eyes of the Granger are upon you.

Part of me gets so irritated with the Devean George's/Varajeo's of the world, who hold up trades with veto power. However, I fully understand that you should be able to play where you wish to play, since what you are marketing is yourself. In any event, I get the sense that the primary focus for a big man search is a lowpost scoring option, which I don't feel Varajeo provides. We have energy, we have hustle. What we're lacking is someone we can throw on the block for an easy bucket. Bringing in Varajeo does nothing to address that. I must admit to not really liking Varajeo all that much, since all he does is flop all the time, but if we're looking at him as a realistic option, then I'd rather take my chances with Jeff.
