J . . . . . E . . . . . . T. . . . . S. . . . . . JETS!!!! JETS!!!! JETS!!!!!
This whole Favre thing has had more twists and turns than a roller coaster.
I don't even care. He'll have another season of 20+ interceptions and he'll decide to come back for "one more year" to end on a high note. It will never end..
This is a win-win. If he's great, he causes NE problems. If he sucks, all those Jets fans like Greenberg wallow in misery.
Crazy turn of events.....
Super Bowl XLI Champions
2000 Eastern Conference Champions
No way he puts up even close to last years numbers.
The Jets restocked their team with disgruntled(but very talented) vets from around the league. Only time will tell if this actually works out well for the long run. In any event, they will be much improved in the short run. Probably a playoff team for sure.

Can't say how this works out. Two years ago the Jets were a playoff team. Last year they royally sucked. Guess we'll see - wonder what Favre thinks of the move?
I am not sure that a Brett Favre who hasn't worked out all summer, has to learn a new offense, and has to get used to new teammates with less talent then he had last year is really going to upgrade them much.
At least now the two Jets-Pats games are more likely to be on TV!
i am secretly hoping the jets trade him to the vikings -- i don't want this story to die. ever.
This is the darkest timeline.
It would be funny though if jets did trade him to another team and then THAT team traded him to the vikings. I really wonder why they tacked on that stipulation to the trade unless the vikings were having green bays phones ring off the hooks trying to pursue him and the packers just weren't gonna have any of that. Wonder if it would be possible say that they do in fact trade him to the vikings can the vikings just give 2 picks and some players to the jets and the jets only end up having to give one?
