Thread: Saw Donnie Walsh Sunday Night

Default Saw Donnie Walsh Sunday Night

Took the wife to Sullivans Steakhouse for our Anniversary on Sunday night. I look over her head and the table behind me seats old Donnie and some female (don't know if he is married) that he was entertaining. It's funny, the last time I went to a good steak place (Dunaways) I saw Jim O'Brien.

Moral of the story, invite me to a nice steak dinner if you want to meet Pacer/former Pacer coaches and management.

Don't ask me about who I saw or where when I went to Sullivans a few years ago.

Jeff Foster in the restroom, right?

I remember that story from here; not sure if it was you though.

It was Scot Pollard, wasn't it? Or maybe that was someone else again.
And I won't be here to see the day
It all dries up and blows away
I'd hang around just to see
But they never had much use for me

Too bad you didn't have the Post of the Year award back then.

Unless something has happened recently DW is still married. I believe his wife still resides in Indy while he is in NY. I read somewhere in a DW interview where she didn't want to move away from Indy and family. I'm sure he makes numerous trips back to Indy to be with his lovely family.

I had the opportunity to meet DW's wife, their daughter, and a grandson a few years ago, and all were extremely nice people. I have talked to DW on the phone before at his Pacers' office. He was very cordial and appreciated my reconnendation of something he was looking to acquire.

If the girl DW was treating to dinner was quite attractive I would guess her to be his daughter. I remember seeing her when they were saying goodbye to him at the last game.

Definitely not a daughter, probably the wife. I will just say she was older and looked augmented.
