Default Can I rename a thread I created? Did this work?

I remember doing it before but I don't remember how it's done.

I tried to edit the initial post's title, and the change is reflected in the subject line of the first post, but not on the forum page.

    How do you do this?

Call up the post you want to edit and choose EDIT. Since you want to edit the title it will take some extra steps. Strip naked and with a beer in one hand, run around the block twice screaming "I wanna change my post title from ______ to ______" . Then return to your home and click the ADVANCED tab. Now you'll be able to change the title.

    This should work perfectly.

When you're in the section that your topic is in and on the page your topic is on, like Club Rio for example, just double-click to the right of the title of your thread and the title will then be an editable text box.

I've tried multiple times to do it to my watchmen thread, but it won't work. It works on newer threads, so I'm at a loss.

You must not be holding your beer right. Do three more laps nude, but this time, put a small sign on your back that says looking for love while running the laps around the block. I'm sure that will fix it.

This apparently works best with a classic American beer like PBR. If you're trying some import then that's part of your problem. You could try Bud or Miller but most people report that Pabst Blue Ribbon is what gives them consistent results.

LA, there is typically a time limit of editing posts that the admins of the board can set. My guess is you have exceeded that time limit.

Now if only I had known this before I read Bball's post...........
