1. A scoring two guard.
- Ray Allen
- Corey Maggette
- Quentin Richardson
- Brent Barry
- Matt Harpring
- Doug Christie [Maybe]
- Others?
If Indiana could get more production from shooting guard, it would help out alot.
2. A Center.
- Theo Rattlif [Most likely not, Portland loves him]
- Eric Dampieer [Not at his price.]
- Others?
3. Shooting off the bench.
- Brian Cardinal
- Carlbert Chaney
- Kyle Koover
- Casey Jaceobson
- Richie Frahm
Just to have someone who can hit shots. Probably not CJ [He would be through trades] but if we could get KK or BC cheap I would go for them.

1. 3 team deal. [Indiana-Golden State-Washington]
- To Indiana
- Eric Dampieer
- Jarvis Hayes
To Golden State
- Al Harrington
- Scot Pollard
- Juan Dixon
- Anthony Johnson
To Washington
- Jason Richardson
- Anthony Johnson
We add a center, I guess we're after him. I'm not a big fan of his but if Indiana wants him, I think this is an alright deal. And i'll admit ED played well, I just wanna see him continue that strong play. Hayes is a good scorer/shooter although he is not the player I think everyone visioned at the guard he will keep on improving. If we have Al in any deal [S&T] for ED I think this is a good deal because we get a solid two guard in return. If the coaching staff will help him with creating his shot and defense he would greatly improve. Which I think he'll work on himself this summer.
Golden State gets something out of Damp. They replace him with Pollard to play center. Pollard brings toughness to that team. And J-Rich is in there because it seems that GS fans say they would do a flop of J-Rich for Harrington so this is almsot no diffrent. Its not like GS can really say what Indiana sends them in a S&T deal anyway. Atleast not that much.
J-Rich and there star player, Gilbert Arenas are best of friends. This would probably get GA excited and energetic. Now if they can get a SF who complaments that dyanmic backcourt duo they would be in really good shape.
I know Hayes is not the player we all see as starting at guard for us next season but realisticly he is our guy who fits the team better.
We don't have the money to add up to Allen's or T-Mac's salary. I don't know that Indiana trades Artest and I don't see either team taking Harrington plus Croshere.
2. Re-Sign Jamison Brewer
He would be a defenseive spark plug off of our bench next season. Alot of energy.
3. Sign: Calbert Chaney, Michael Ruffin.
We add a couple of veterans. Chaney can shoot the lights out and MR can bang when needed.
Draft.
- 29: Viktor Khryapa- He brings alot of versatility. Would probably be smart to have him play a season or two more overseas.
- 59: Andre Barrett- Can set up teamates, hit the jumper, or take it to the hole and score. Only 5'10 but he plays with alot of heart and passion and I think we should give him a roster spot. [Depending on summer league play.]
04-05 Lineup:
PG: Jamaal Tinsley
SG: Jarvis Hayes
SF: Ron Artest
PF: Jermaine O'Neal
C: Eric Dampier
6th Man: Fred Jones [I would make him the 6th because he has been more consistant than Bender IMHO.]
- Johnathan Bender
- Jamison Brewer
- Jeff Foster
- Austin Croshere
- Calbert Chaney
- Michael Ruffin
- James Jones
- Andre Barrett
- Possiable the 29 Pick.
This team would be pretty good, IMHO.
Tinsley will improve his shooting, shot off the dribble and set shooting still. So he will be better and RC will let him play with a little less restriction. Brewer off the bench would be nice. He has alot of energy and athletic abilty. He is improving his jump shot too. Barrett wouldn't see much time but he is only there to develope and see what kind of player he can be for us.
Hayes would be able to add some shooting. Coming off screens primarly. Opening up things for Artest and JO. I also think Hayes will put the ball on the floor more too next season. Fred Jones would add some excitment and intensity off the bench.
Artest would be Artest, I guess. Bender would get an oppurtonity to show his stuff. Calbert Chaney would provide shooting when called upon. If Bender gets injured, which would not be a bit of a suprise, CC is capable of stepping in and filling it up. James Jones also could be better but probably won't see much playing time no matter what.
JO would still be JO. Still blocking shots and getting his 20 but hopefully he improves his ball handling-passing and shooting skills. Croshere would provide some shooting and veteran play. Ruffin is on the squad to give some toughness when needed.
ED averaged 12-12 in the West last season, he would probably do about the same here. [He didn't have any kind of JO last season to grab 10 boards himself.] ED also gives us shot blocking. Jeff Foster played well when starting but he would be much more effective coming off of the bench. Giving his great energy and hustle.
