Like I said earlier, All Tinsley jerseys are still alive!

    Ford will take #11.

Also, they said JT gained a lot of weight since April.

Boston is the exception to the rule.
    Not exactly...
Boston parlayed some young players and desirable contracts into what became an 'overnight' champion. But Boston spent plenty of time collecting the pieces that turned out to be assets that they were then able to use as trading cards... not the actual pieces they needed on the court.

It's all about the flexibility. Flexibility didn't matter much with Walsh at the helm because it wasn't really something he was interested in.
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

I'm paraphrasing here....but the question was asked whether Tinsley and Shawne will be on the Pacers next season....and this Jake guy said "Absolutely not".

Same old same old for Tinsley.....but he seems to think that Shawne is being shopped....but more then likely be around.

    I've pretty much stated everything.

The symantics of the trade have already been stated. Basically, all that is going on is talking about the history of the players and talking about the Colts and their off-field problems.

Nothing new so far.....other then this Jake guy thinks that we should still draft Augustin.

That's what we need......a PG rotation that will be the quickest but easiest to post-up in the league.

Okay...no need to voraciously disagree about it....

Moon is one of their Starters? I thought that he was a rotational player
Okay, voraciously was a bit much. I just wanted to type it rather than "really really".

He actually had a hell of a year for the Raptors. I started closely following his progress after reading this article:

Bird can not be judged for at least the next few years. Bird had very little control while Donnie was here. From what I've heard David Morway and Bird where usually on one page and Donnie on another the last few years.
When can he be judged? The only players left from before he was brought on to head basketball operations are Jeff and Jamaal, and neither is long for the Pacers world. One would think he had some input into everyone else on our roster.

He's also hired the last two coaches, unless you somehow want to make the argument those were really Donnie's moves. The scouting and medical staffs have also been completely turned over, and he takes credit for those moves as well.

I seriously do not understand how you can say he can't be judged for a few more years. If you are really that patient, you should ask Kstat how it feels to be a Lions fan.

Is this really basically set in stone? It isn't reported on ESPN or CBS Sportsline yet.

Only a handful of PGs can defend Billups period... Especially in the East.
I think the Pacers need to be much more concerned with someone who can guard Lebron.
Joey Dorsey comes to mind. Guarding Billups is not near the concern.
Or draft Burrell at 41 if you are really worried about Billups or even Weaver.

So you expect this mess to be all cleaned up in a season?

Having input and running the show are do entirely different things. I know, no way to prove it though, that Bird and Morway were not in agreement with Walsh the last 2 seasons on the direction things were going. Regardless of what has been said in the media, Donnie ran the show till he left.

I think it's more credible that Yahoo and WIBC are talking about it as done, as opposed to if they both weren't and those other two were.

If the Pacers want to rebuild, THIS is the draft to get some good players/prospects in.

Picks all over the place are available and imo the Pacers could end up with 3 or 4 first round possibilities.

Foster I would assume is a highly tradeable asset, and while Barbosa might be unreasonable, but Diaw, #15, and a future #1 could be an offer worth mulling over.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

This doesn't talk about speed, but here's how he performed after the injury last year:

Played in 34 of Toronto's 36 games after returning on 2/4.

    Pre-Injury: 14.1 pts, 6.8 asts, 1.2 stls, 2.4 TO's, 25.5 MPG, 49% FG's, 85% FT's

    Post Injury: 11.1 pts, 5.8 asts, 1.0 stls, 1.8 TO's, 22.2 MPG, 46% FG, 90% FT

    Post Injury breakdown by month:

    Feb: (9 games) 8.6 pts, 5.7 asts, 0.7 stls, 0.9 TO's, 18.3 MPG, 35% FG, 92% FT
    Mar: (17 games) 11.3 pts, 5.1 asts, 1.0 stls, 2.2 TO's, 22.5 MPG, 46% FG, 86% FT
    Apr: (8 games) 13.6 pts, 7.5 asts, 1.4 stls, 1.9 TO's, 25.4 MPG, 55% FG, 93% FT

Nice recovery arc...he averaged 11 pts, 6.6 asts, and 4.4 rebs in the Playoffs, but only shot 36%.

On the whole, it looks like his post injury performance has rebounded relatively nicely.
