Ok, If I remember correctly, New Orleans is moving to the Western Conference. Since this is going to happen, who here actually thinks they will make the Playoffs? I know I don't think they will, with the emergence of some of the teams in the Western Conference, it should be hell for them.

Then again...how much better would the Hornets have been with a different coach then Floyd. I think New Orleans will challenge for the bottom of the Western Conf.

They should actually do better moving to such a WEAK conference, where nobody plays any D........

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

I think they will fail miserably, miss the PO's, be ripped apart by turmoil and fan apathy...and be looking to move to St Louuis or KC in w-3 years.

    That is a tough-*** division:

    Hornets
    Grizzlies
    Rockets
    Spurs
    Mavericks

Not one crappy team there, unless it becomes the Hornets.

Well at least they now have a decent coach...and assuming they make the right offseason acquisitions, I think they will be a competitor.

They really need to get rid of Mashburn (which is what they are likely doing anyway).
