I just got it about a minute ago. I went to another website and back within 30 seconds and it loaded up fine. Plus I got to count
Yeah, it just happened. Its the second time in the past two hours for me.
It just happened again...
All times are GMT -4. The time now is 11:09 AM. Got it the first time I loaded the site today (6-6-08). Had it once last night as well.
Sometimes it's a matter of seconds before being able to log on... sometimes it's several minutes.
EDIT: And sometimes when it's quick it's really just a tease because the first post you try to open or reply to gets you:
The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later.
....Which is just what happened to me. It does get annoying when it happens this frequently and hits in the middle of a posting to boot.
O'Brien has been fired! Yay! What took so long?

That use to be my food area, Mother Bear's and Dragon Express! Woohoo!
Ha is Mad mushroom still around? I hated that place!
Oh and I've gotten the server error quite a bit as well
should we start a server down counting thread?
This is the darkest timeline.
PF Chang, the hosting company is ABLE. He supplies all of this for FREE.
I got it once last night and twice this morning.
This is my new thread of the year.
If you didn't know, I understand, but damn it if it doesn't come across as rude and inconsiderate regardless.
It happened to me just now, then I opened another internet explorer window and also went to PD, and it DIDN'T happen within the second window.
Then I went back to the first window and it was still happened when I refreshed.
I'm not sure if this helps diagnose the problem, but it is weird.
It is really weird. I've had some be as short as thirty seconds and others as long as 10-15 minutes.
I think they refer to those 30 second episodes as the "two pump chump"....
Wait what are we talking about again?
You all have dirty minds.
If we're keeping track it happened to me once so far today.
About a dozen times today.
I'm not sure if reporting each instance will help this point, but what might is telling us what OS you use, and what browser (and version) you use. Also, are you on dial-up, DSL, Cable, something else? Thanks.
If I helps, I am using Windows XP SP4, IE7 Latest Release, and I'm on a T1 here at work.
When it has happened at home, I'm using Windows 2000, IE 6(the last release) and am on Cable. I hope that helps.
WIndows XP, Cable at home, T1 at work. Happens to me in both Internet Explorer latest version and Firefox latest version.
Mac OSX Leopard 10.5 with a Cable connection using Safari 3.0.
