Will the Colts be able to maintain their current quality for 3 more seasons? I mean if not, being in our Super Bowl is unlikely. I'd like to think we'll still be good (the Colts are good at "reloading" positions). Really it comes down to Peyton Manning. How old will he be in 3 years?
It all depends on Manning. Perhaps the most impressive thing about his career thus far is the fact that he's never missed a game, never really missed a play. But as he gets older, you have to figure that is going to change.

Manning will be 35 for the 2011 season. There is no reason to believe that he won't still be at the top of his game.

Elway was 37 and 38 when he won his Super Bowls.

    Yeah, I rest my case.

Harrison's contract expires after 2011. Here's a good scenario: Marvin wins the super bowl in Indy, then retires gracefully.

OK. Maybe that's being a tad too optimistic (on both the game and Harrison still being around then).

...Or there's the nightmare scenario- The Colts don't make it and the Pats do! What a terrible thought!!!

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

I'm am so excited about this! I've already started counting down to 2/5/12. Anyone have any idea how ticket sales work for something like the SB?

IIRC (and I may not) each SB team is given a certain number of tickets to offer for sale as they wish. I believe the Colts offered them to season ticket holders through some sort of lottery system.
