    Default Past picks at 11

Sorry if this has been done, but I was reading how they get 8 of 1000 chances to upgrade to number one and that there's a greater chance to get the 12 pick vs the 1, 2, or 3 pick respectively. So here you go.

07 Acie Law (Al Harrington move)

    06 JJ Redick

05 Fran Vazquez (seriously, I'm not kidding followed by Yaroslav Krolev at 12, seriously)

    04 Andris Biedrins

    03 Mickael Pietrus

    02 Jared Jeffries

    01 Kedrick Brown

    00 Jerome Moiso

99 Trajan Langdon (great Alaskan born player, now playing in Russia! You can take the boy out of the Tundra... well maybe you can't)

    98 Bonzi Wells

97 Tariq Abdul Wahad (I can't remember his other name, but I know its alot easier)

    96 Todd Fuller

I'll stop here. Maybe they need to consider trading up.

I know there are guys taken after 11 that are allstars, but this is a very sad list at 11.

It would be interesting to see who was picked at 12-20 for all those drafts in order to get a better idea of what was available.

Olivier Michael Saint-Jean is his name. I looked it up on wikipedia, honestly I thought that it was Chris Jackson, but then I remembered that was Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf.

Of course, a guy who wore #31 for many years as a Pacer was drafted 11th in 1987. Granted, the guy making our draft picks I have far less faith in than the guy who drafted Reggie...

But it couldn't have been very deep if Jeffires went as high as 11. Maybe that was just a bad pick.

If there's one thing I've learned from this board, no player of any value has ever been drafted at any position in the history of the draft.

It should be noted that, right now, Andris Biedrins is the only NBA starter on that list (tho Bonzi Well has been a starter for much of his career).

Agreed. Furthermore, no Pacer, past or present, was ever as good as anyone said, was never as good of a character as anyone wants to believe, and the Pacers have and always will be a disappointment.

Langdon- the Alaskan player is not playing in Siberia with Eskimos. He's playing for CSKA Moscow- the new Euroleague Champs and best team in Europe- and was named Finals MVP. He's a hell of a player.

Can't argue to much with that one...

Let's not judge Mr. Vazquez until next year when he's in the league...perhaps.

And Biedrins - I wouldn't mind that pick right about now.

Let me ask you this? Is he a really skinny eskimo guy with amazing handles when no defense is on him. Oh! And can he hit a wide open 16 ft three over another really skinny white guy?

And does he have an amazing slashing ability going against 6'10 210 lb centers. Man alive... that sounds as good as German fudgesickles.
