    Default Larry Bird Interview

Larry was on Dan Patrick's radio show yesterday. I thought it was actually a good interview (maybe because he said he'd trade one of his NBA rings for a NCAA national title.)

If you're waiting for him to talk about the Pacers don't bother listening because they don't really talk about the present team. Only brief references to when coached.

I thought it was good even though it wasn't Pacers-based.

Why would he want an NCAA national title?

At worst....wouldn't he want a NBA title for the team that he currently runs?

Like I said, the Pacers didn't even come up in the coversastion. As for why he wants a national title so badly you'd have to ask Larry, but he's pretty sick of Magic always bringing up the national title. Besides, if you have more than one ring what's wrong with wanting to trade one for something you don't have.

(Oh my God, did I just stick up for Larry Bird? )

I took it as, he would rather have won 2 NBA titles and beaten Magic in the NCAA than have won 3 NBA titles but lost to Magic in the NCAA.

    ....end enriched Putnam by $200.

There was a pool at Swinford Hall at Ball State, $5 got you in for a blind draw. I drew ISU. I was in it all the way to the end.

That game was the last time I've bet money on anything.

I'd hang around just to see
