    Default Thoughts on next season

    1. I don't plan on adding any new players to our league. There are a few of the less active owners that will not be returning. This is not a reflection on any of them. During the course of the season there are many different things that can happen that can impact how much time you can commit to a silly little internet game.

We have a couple options that will make themselves more clear over the next several months. First, drop the league to 20 teams. I have 19 guys that I'd like to return, 7 of them have already expressed an interest in returning.

I have 1 former player that will be returning as well as a poster that has been in leagues on the site before.

The other option is filling the league with vets from the past. I have a list of 5 that have stepped aside but are more than welcome to return.

We're also looking to start up a 2nd league. If there's enough interest to make it do-able. I've had 10 posters PM be about the possibilty of joining should we start up another league. As you guys know, a 10 team league is not nearly enough so I would hope some of us could help fill out the league to at least 16 teams. We'll cross that bridge if we build it.

    Thoughts?

Sounds good to me, I would just very much like to start doing a second keeper league for active players who are not in the first.

I would like to return to both the ABA, and Keeper League for next season.

And if you end up creating a second Keeper League, and need more people to fill it out, I would be willing to manage another team.

I already am in the Keeper League, but I took over someone else's team in that one, so I would love the opportunity to draft another team from scratch.

Just let us know the numbers you have, and where things stand as the offseason progresses.

And thank you for your efforts, and top-notch commissioning as usual.

what is the difference of the keeper league? do we keep the players from the year before?

I'm more than happy to manage teams in different leagues...

In the existing KL we keep 9 players from one year to the next and have a 3-rd draft each fall. I'd also be interested in another KL (as a member, not a commish).

I will join and be active with any of the leagues that are here. If someone wants to step down in the Keeper League I will take over gladly.

Also i am commish of the New Keeper League so PM away and I will start to contact others.

I'll be sending out my season wrap-up e-mail this weekend. If a spot opens up I'll let you know.
