My point was just that I think the differences between a SG and a SF in this league are minor.

He's still my hero. Played outstanding again tonight. Not as impressive as last night (because of those monster blocks and a lot more boards), but he still brought it on a night when we needed it the most.

Danny shown that he is now a legitimate contender for MIP, and an All-Star.

He seems like a natural leader. He isn't very agressive, though.

MIP.. Most Improved Player. Dun and Danny are both in that category.

I agree. I think he will be considered for the all-star team if he continues playing at this level into next year. As for Most Improved Player, I think he has a case. I actually think he's improved more than Dunleavy.

At this rate, Granger appears to be capable of averaging above 20ppg while playing pretty good defense. There are a lot of players who can score like that, but not as many who also put up some defense. For example, Jason Richardson and Vinsanity are scoring machines but are lazy on D.

Unfortunate for Danny, there's a guy named Lebron in the eastern conference...so Granger's not going to start at SF any time soon if ever in an all-star game....

I don't believe Labron will have a long career. I think he will have a lot of injury problems because of his weight.

He could prove me wrong since he is a rare specimen, but to have a long basketball career I think you have to have a slender frame.

DG33 is special, I really hope he keeps this up next season and makes the all star team. It's been weird not having a Pacer in the All Star game.

Sir Charles says otherwise. Or Fatoine Walker. Or Shaq Diesel, or any number of other heavy set guys who played 10+ seasons.

Thanks for helping me out there. I am aware that Dun and Danny are close to the top in that category.

Well dukey Marc Stein doesn't agree with you about Danny, but I do, if that makes you feel anymore loved.

I didn't know where to put this and it might easily get overlooked - but does anyone think it would have been nice for us to have had James Jones on the squad this year?

If it came down to either him or Kareem Rush, then I'd prefer to have James.

    Don't get me started.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Yeah, forgot. National media overlooks us 98% of the time unless there is a drug bust in the Home Court Gift Shop.

I love that in our biggest 3 games of the year he scored 30+ 3 times in a row. I love it!

Good that he has the instincts to rise to the occasion. Something I'm not sure we've had since Reggie. JO just didn't bring it. Too many clanks.

    Cool, sorry about the PM.

I just thought it would be better to PM it than post so I don't get a million PMs.
