Default Fantasy Basketball - New league forming - post #26

    Hi ya

I'm the commish of one of the fantasy leagues that we've put together here on Pacers Digest.

Even thou our season is just winding down, I'm starting the process of putting together next years league.

Why am I posting this now?

The site usually remains active through the NBA playoffs in June. So, if you're interested, I can pass along the league info & you can check out the site before next season.

    We use the Sports.ws site.

The number 1 league rule is daily participation.

If you can't set aside about 10 minutes a day to manage your roster then our league is not for you.

Most of last years owners will return & some that have taken a year off will go to the head of the line if they choose to return.

However, I do expect to have some openings.

If this is something you'd like to check out, send me a PM.

I should be in for next year Jose. I had fun this year even though I didn't make the playoffs. Maybe I can come back and rebuild like the Pacers Just call me Larry Bird.

Please put me on the wait list to join up after my season-long recess.

    Thanks much.

The Balad Blitz might join. Are there any territorial rights we have to be concerned about?

    You know guys with guns.

Territorial rights should be the last thing you need to worry about.

I've also had 4 or 5 guys PM me too.

Looks like we won't have any trouble filling the league.

We might have enough interest to start another. We'll know more much later in the summer.

I'm getting ready to go out of town until late Saturday I'll pass along all the info sometime this weekend.

No what is the competition structure? I've played h2h and roto on yahoo, I thought sports.ws had a different type again.

Young Turks shall return...after winning the GQest team and finishing tied for 3rd in manager of the year...no reason why I'm not coming back...with a bigger goal than to just make the playoffs

Is there such a thing as fanasty GM.

Where you get an original squad and you make the decisons for the year. Like draft, FA signings, and such. All teams have GMs and you trade and such.

Points are given some how I don't know.
