Their defense, after 50 some people had died from a lion attack was to relocate to the other side of the river.

Lions don't like water and usually avoid it at all cost.

Therefore they were not only shocked that the man eating lion swam the river but they were shocked that he made it.

The river has one of the highest concentrations of crocodiles in the world.

These are hard working people who sleep with their crops in harvest time to keep animals away from them and they were being picked off by the lions.

Finally they found a guy with a rifle and he sat out there on bait and capped the lion.

I'm sure he was a hero to those folks. You could just tell how much honor he felt being able to solve that problem. It was big for him and big for all of them.

I guess the closest thing we have in the lower 48 is crackheads or something. Car jackers.
I heard he was being sued for using an unregistered rifle and armour piercing ammo. I just saw on CNN that the Save the Lions committee was going to protest all forms of hunting in Africa saying that there are more humans than lions and we should treat them equally (nevermind those lions that are entering the preserve illegally by swimming the river).

It's nice to know you can have a butter knife thrown into your head but yet the police need to figure out whether it was done legally.

I don't know about you, but I see these lions as a real opportunity.

Killing a grizzly bear with a stick would be a lot like killing a lion with a garden trowel.

If you survive that kind of thing I imagine it's all gravy for a time.

With my luck there would be 2 flocking bears.

Skinning one out with a rock or something and a second one jumps your *** from behind.

As if the Gods don't see killing one bear with a stick as "enough" burden for one day.

Does the stick even hold up for two bears.

Do you pull the stick out of the first bear to kill the second or do you need two sticks.

Of course he is still a bear. Not a real deep thinker.

    Bad breath.

Pull your leg off to floss with and all that

Not a lot of bears here though.

Not a lot of call for bear killers either.

Bear killers are all out of work round these parts.

I think we need to get your medication adjusted.

Or I'll just send you up to Canada for a bear hunt. Either way.
