That's a tough route to take but it sounds like you have a plan laid out.

I earned my degree at night (after a stint in "real college") and took 8 years to do it. It was worth it and I wish you well in your efforts.

My 9-5 never did accept my degree but I still did a lot with it.

A tremendous pain in the jaw. CLicking sounds in the jaw and in my case, the jaw disengaging and not going back into proper position resulting in pain and a stuffy ear (and for years I thought I was going deaf on that side).

Geez, you left out expensive as well in reference to TMJ. Wife had it and was recommended to get braces to alleviate the problem. Rather expensive solution for a woman in her late 20's at the time.

The office visit was a tad over $500 paid up front and they send a receipt to my insurance to re-imburse me (anyone know a different TMJ doc)

The want me to wear what amounts to a massive retainer 24/7 for 6 mos minimum. I'm a realtor, I have to be able to speak clearly, not to mention I have a low tolerance gag response.

My mom wears the retainer pretty much full time from her TMJ. I'm starting to get worried. I wake up in the mornings and my jaws hurt, because I clinch them in the night. Went to the dentist and they said I'm starting to get a fracture down one of my molars from it. Good stuff.

I'm posting from China, where I am for 2 weeks on business. The TV at the current hotel has 3 channels in English: HBO, BBC, and CNN International feed.

Internet is OK, though social media is blocked (at least facebook & twitter). Youtube is blocked too. Probably other stuff I haven't noticed yet.

It's my first time here- pretty interesting society. I will travel to some more scenic areas later, but where I am now the landscape is dominated by construction cranes and ultra-modern convention center type architecture. The obvious modernization/growth is amazing. When they do construction in China it seems to be on a big scale. They identify where a neighborhood is to be built and put up dozens of high rise apartments, seemingly all at the same time, and (unfortunately) with EXACTLY the same look. One apartment building duplicated 50-100 times, pretty amazing. I guess it's the way to house a billion people efficiently though, also building a train station next to it and then a smoggy cluster of also identical-looking factories a few miles up the track, with another cluster in-between, which I am guessing is grocery stores and other local essentials.

Still time-shifted, as it's 4:45 AM and I'm up, but I'll force myself to stay up tomorrow night instead of crashing at 8PM.

Get a bicycle and test out the traffic. On second thought just kidding as a big ole bus may take you out.

Had a buddy with no degree go to China and wound up staying to teach conversational english.

rush hour traffic in a cab was interesting...

but then so was a smooth ride at 200 mph on a high-speed train. Would you like to zip from Indy to Chicago in 50 minutes?

I'd love to see China. I studied the language in college but never made the trip, geezer Jr. did though. Two years ago he went for 3 weeks with the IU Singing Hoosiers.....loved it.

To keep the Sig 1911 Ultra Nitron (.45 acp) with a 3" barrel or sell it and go back to a Kimber with 4" barrel.

The sig is just a touch less accurate but is easier to clean. The 4" barrel is more accurate with less noticable recoil...but it has that stupid little tool needed to take her down for cleaning. It would cost me $200-250 to switch. Then again, I shoot alot and accuracy is 1a-1b to me. Ease of cleaning is only important if we get in a war zone, which I have no intention of doing. Then again I do like the sig.....................................

And then there is the Browning BDA .380 nickel or the classic S&W .357 with 2.5" barrel.............

I just googled it and man, that looks really nice. Saw a quick video of it on youtube as well and it looks nice and easy like a Sunday morning.I assume you're going with the .45 version instead of the 9?

I haven't really researched it at all, mainly because I should be asleep right now, but are they a SA/DA or just a straight SA?

SA/DA and accurate as imaginable. One drawback....the have this little allen wrench similar tool that you insert into the barrel guide rod before disassembly....others don't have this little pest to contend with.

I replaced our garbage disposal last year. Pretty easy once I got the broke one off. That by itself, took a couple of hours.
