    Unhappy Closing out the season

Would love to see how many of these you think we'll win. 19 games left, including Seattle.

    Tue 11 vs Seattle
    Fri 14 @ Dallas
    Sat 15 @ Orlando
    Mon 17 vs New York
    Wed 19 vs Charlotte
    Fri 21 vs Minnesota
    Sat 22 @ Chicago
    Tue 25 vs New Orleans
    Wed 26 @ New Jersey
    Fri 28 vs New Jersey
    Mon 31 vs Miami
    Wed 02 @ Boston
    Fri 04 @ Milwaukee
    Sun 06 vs Milwaukee
    Tue 08 vs Atlanta
    Fri 11 @ Philadelphia
    Sat 12 vs Charlotte
    Mon 14 @ Washington
    Wed 16 vs New York

I'm thinking Seattle, New York, Charlotte, Jersey (1), Miami, Milwaukee (1), Philly, Washington, and New York. So 9 of 19, which would (sadly enough) improve our winning percentage.

    Your thoughts?

I think we will win 14 of the remaining games and I fully expect JO and JT to be back by the 22nd or 25th of this month.

We win 4-6 games. I don't know which ones but wouldn't that be about what our average is?

What makes us all of a sudden able to beat the Bobcats????

I realize my memory is fading with age but haven't they beaten the crap out of us each time we've played?

I can only see 3 "likely" victories on the schedule......both games against the Knicks and the one game against the Heat. Those 3 games are pretty much guaranteed since it's one of those "our scrubs are better then their scrubs" type of games.

As for the rest....without knowing whether JONeal returns or not....I have no clue. All the teams here have a reason to win the game where one team can kill us with their perimeter shooting ( Bobcats or Bucks ) and then the next night some team with some decent Big Man can kill us inside ( TWolves or the Magic ). Honestly, I never know how good or bad our defense can be and therefore can't figure out which teams we can or cannot beat.

I see possibly 9 wins. If we need less wins to go for that better draft pick,
then yeah, put in JO and/or Tins.

Disrupt the team once again by forcing them to readjust to having our
"superstars" back. That'll surely be a recipe for success.

9 and 10 the rest of the way. Probably end up with the 10th pick.

Hasheem Thabeet, I hope. Add defense and some excitement with his blocked shots.

Bobcats are playing well right now. In both of the previous games between the pacers and Cats, the Pacers had a double digit lead in the 4th quarter - so the games were close

I'd have to say 7-12. I see 5 for sure losses in Dal, Orl, NOrl, Bos, and Was. I took the rest of the 14 remaining games and split them .500.

I think we will be lucky to split the easier opponents on the schedule because when you are a bad team...there is no one on your calandar you can circle as an easy win.

I'd say anywhere from 7-12 wins. The schedule gets a lot easier from here on out. It's possible, however, that playing at home is just going to get more depressing. It might be better if we had more road games.

I'm praying for 8 wins at least, as I bet the over at 31.5 wins for the season.

I said 33 wins a couple weeks ago. I'll stick with that. Of course, being
of the 'tanker' persuasion, I hope I'm wrong. I hope they crash and
burn and finish w/ 30 wins or less.

In other words, go Sonics !

There are no easy games for the Pacers. Look at who has beaten us this season. Look at the early games where we got a big lead and allowed teams back in the game.

Unless a team wants to lay down and die, our chances of beating anyone on a given night are not high.

I'd say 6-13, adding Minnesota to the loss column. We do not match up well with them for some reason. I anticipate Arenas making it back and having his 1st really big game back against us. I don't think we'll lose to Jersey back-to-back. We will finish sub .500, treading water around the 7-9 pick.

Make the 8th seed and get the 13th pick. I said we would make the playoffs at the beginning of the season and I really think we can. I will not be shocked either way. More if we make the playoffs than if we don't.

If good Tinsley comes back this could happen. If he doesn't we have a lesser chance but it is still there.

8th seed in the East gets the #15 pick.

9-10 and it's going to be a race for the playoffs (or out if you see it that way).

My only feeling is that if they are hitting the playoffs, try to get JO back out there before then to give them the slightest hope of winning a game or two. I could live with that.

I'd take good Tins too, but I have zero hopes on that one.

Again, look at Hollinger's predictor where it plays out the games. Pacers look to be drafting 10 OR 15. I think 7-8 is off the board already.

At first glance I see 6 wins.

I'd need to take into account back to backs & 3 games in 4 nights.

Also I'd need to check out the same thing for who we're playing.

I'm sure as Jose mentioned schedule will play into the scenario, but the level of competition will not. We are not better then anyone on our schedule...IMHO!

Yup, they are about the worst in the league. But, with our brilliant offense of fast break 3pt shots and long jumpers, we are bound to get lucky eventually.
