Timeline of Pacers' troubles
May 25, 2002: Police were called to Ron Artest's Indianapolis home where Jennifer Palma accused him of grabbing her around the neck and by the arm during an argument. A compromise was reached, Palma went to New York and no charges were filed.
July 2002: Artest was charged in New York for harassment and criminal contempt for violating a court order that he not contact Palma. He was ordered to take anger-management sessions with a psychologist.
Nov. 19, 2004: Artest fouled Ben Wallace with 45.9 seconds left in a Pacers' blowout at Detroit. A fan threw a drink at Artest, who then rushed into the stands, leading to one of the worst brawls between players and fans in U.S. sports history. Also involved were Pacers Stephen Jackson, David Harrison, Anthony Johnson, Jermaine O'Neal and Reggie Miller. NBA suspensions ranged from 1 game for Miller to the rest of the season for Artest.

misdemeanor assault and battery in connection with the incident at Detroit.
Sept. 30, 2005: David Harrison was sentenced to probation, community service, anger management counseling and a fine for his part in the brawl.
Oct. 7, 2005: Johnson received the harshest sentence for his role in the Detroit brawl -- a year of probation, 100 hours of community service, anger management counseling and a $250 fine. He also was ordered not to drink for a year and to undergo random drug and alcohol testing.
Oct. 6, 2006: Jackson, Jamaal Tinsley, Marquis Daniels and Jimmie Hunter were involved in an incident in the parking lot at Club Rio, during which Jackson fired a handgun into the air and kicked a disabled man. Jackson was charged with criminal recklessness, misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct.
Jan. 26, 2007: Because of the Club Rio incident, Jackson was charged with violating his probation in Detroit. He was sentenced to community service for the violation and his probation was extended.
Feb. 6, 2007: Tinsley, Daniels and Keith McLeod were involved in an incident at the 8 Seconds Saloon during which the bar manager said he was assaulted by Tinsley and Daniels.
Feb. 21, 2007: Tinsley was indicted on charges of intimidation and disorderly conduct and Daniels was indicted for battery and disorderly conduct in connection with the scuffle at the 8 Seconds Saloon. The bar manager decided not to push for criminal charges. McLeod was not charged.
June 18, 2007: Jackson agreed to plead guilty to criminal recklessness for firing a gun into the air at Club Rio, a Westside gentlemen's club. In return for no jail time, he received a $5,000 fine and 100 hours of community service.
Sept. 11, 2007: Shawne Williams is arrested and charged with operating a vehicle without ever having received a drivers license and two traffic citations -- driving with an expired license plate and failing to signal a lane change. Other passengers faced marijuana possession and handgun charges.
Sept. 28, 2007: Shawne Williams fails to appear in court on a charge stemming from his arrest earlier this month.
Oct. 1, 2007: Shawne Williams pleads guilty to driving without a license, a misdemeanor charge. Williams received a suspended 60-day jail sentence and 40 hours of community service. He must also pay a $400 fine and $160 court costs.
Jan. 11, 2008: NBA suspends David Harrison for five games for violating its drug program for a third time. Harrison failed a marijuana test.
Jan. 24, 2008: Detectives in the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department investigate a woman's report that she was sexually assaulted at the Carmel home of Marquis Daniels. The assault occurred during a small gathering at Daniels' house. Daniels is not a suspect in the investigation. The victim accused someone else at the house.
