INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Metro police say officers have arrested a man wanted for murder at the home of Pacers player Shawne Williams.

Police say they observed 20-year-old Gary "Little Bud" Bohannon leaving William's home in the 4700 block of River Ridge Road on the north side about 6:00 p.m. Wednesday night. According to police, Bohannon got in and drove a Dodge truck that was registered to Williams and was stopped a short time later and taken in to custody without incident.

Bohannon was wanted out of Tennessee on a murder charge.

Police say Bohannon was arrested under the alias, "Roosevelt Rollins" on September 11, 2007 while riding in a vehicle with Williams in Indianapolis. He was arrested then on gun and drug charges.

Pacers spokesman David Benner confirms that Williams left Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Bulls for personal reasons.

Someone help out with a link ...

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) ó Police said officers arrested a man on a warrant for murder after he left the home of Indiana Pacers forward Shawne Williams.
Twenty-year-old Gary Bohannon of Tennessee was being held without bond Wednesday night in the Marion County Jail. Indianapolis police arrested Bohannon about 6 p.m. after he allegedly left Williams' northside home in a truck registered to Williams.
Indianapolis police were working with U.S. marshals in Memphis, Tenn. Police were told Bohannon could be found at or near Williams' home.
Police say Bohannon, also known as Roosevelt Rollins, was arrested in September on a drug charge when he was in a vehicle with Williams.
Williams left Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Bulls at halftime. Pacers spokesman David Benner said he left for personal reasons.

Our Shawne Williams? If so, provide a link and someone change the thread to spell his name correctly. Is this why he missed the second half?

No link. Sorry. It was the lead story on FOX59 news.

And yes, I spelled it wrong - its our SHAWNE Williams, and they said thats why he wasn't at the game in the second half.

They said it was a friend of his from back in Memphis.

Ummmmm.... Friends of his dad or his family I think is what we heard during the dope bust. And wasn't there something about learning to choose his friends and associates more carefully? ...Pretty sure he said something like that in his apology.

Oh well... I guess he meant either to change friends... or have the friends change names.

We need to stop giving the Jail Blazers a bad name.

The Pacers should just reserve space at the City-County building and have them walk to Conseco in chains.

The only thing to look forward to at this point is the next incident...lol.

OK, one of the mods can delete my similar thread.

Didnt realize there was another thread, plus I didnt have a link. sorry!

What a joke of a franchise.

Karma is a b****. We've been doomed since the brawl.

I'm beginning to dseriously worry that the Pacers will be moving within a few years if this keeps up. This is going to affect the fan bas even more.

Has there ever been darker days for the franchise? I know the 1980s were hardly bright and sunshiny, but it couldn't have possibly been this bad.

Our two best players are perpetually injured and have no trade value. We seemingly can't go more than a few months without a Pacer's name popping up on the police blotter. Conseco is becoming increasingly empty with each passing game. Oh, and we're losing.

The Pacers were a fine example of a franchise, then BAM! The brawl happens and everything goes to hell right afterwards. Is there no end in sight?

Let me think about this. Let me know if I am reaching-

So the guy had a fake ID/Identity when he was busted this summer...
He's wanted for murder in TN...
He's a friend of the Williams' family...
He's either STILL in Indiana or else he's BACK in Indiana and STILL hanging around S. Williams...
He's got 'access' to a vehicle registered to Shawne...
Police were notified via US Marshalls that he could be 'found at or near Williams' home'...

Is an aiding and abetting charge not being discussed for Shawne Williams future??

    I admit:
    A. Shawne might've not known this guy's real name or about any charges
    B. The guy could've stolen his vehicle.

But given the circumstances, "A" is fairly unlikely and "B" is pretty much unbelievable.

This is why I don't believe in Karma.

We've had nothing but bad luck since November 19th.

We are the joke of the NBA, when people want to say the NBA is filled with bad people, they look straight at the Pacers.

I wish Larry/Donnie/Simons cared about this.

Instead, I'm actually worrying about the future of this franchise. For real.

They have a nice supply of those on Alabama at the lock-up. I seriously believe we would sell more tickets if we went orange.
