Sorry if this has been posted before.

Carlisle: Changes will be made to Pacers roster

The biggest speculation centers on forward Al Harrington

    Well, duh!

Carlisle said he wants Jamison Brewer, the team's only other free agent, to return.

Good. I think we've found something there. :-)

Jermaine O'Neal, who will skip the Olympics in Athens to allow a slightly torn ligament in his left knee to heal,

    Good. He needs the rest.

``We're going to be very proactive with really attacking this summer to get ourselves as ready as we possibly can for next October,'' Carlisle said.

``The work started yesterday,'' Carlisle said. ``It's going to be a busy summer.''

    We'll see, I guess.

However, regarding Brewer, one of the June 3rd articles implied that his stance was similar to Kenny Anderson's. And that is that he would most likely look elsewhere because it did not appear that the opportunity to play would be there next season either.

Carlisle's quotes are what get me excited. He makes it sound like we'll really do something good.

as opposed to the coach who says, "well, I'm leaving for Aruba in a couple days. Hmmm, you'll have to talk to Larry, I'll talk to you sometime in July"?

I think everyone has positive things to say, we'll see how it all pans out.

    Agreed

I have heard big Pacers Talk in the offseason before , I am sure Rick will be consulted on Bird and Donnie's Desire. But I think what you will see is Bird and Donnie calling the shots and Rick works with what Bird and Donnie moves go through.

I am more Intrested in Bird and Donnie Quotes , Ricks are nice but there just typical offseason stuff and you wouldn't expect anything less.

I just don't remember Isiah ever making so blatant that he expected change.

I definitely believe that some major changes will be made. Donnie is a little hesitant at giving out any information pertaining to trades. Larry will pull the trigger. Also i cant remember a coach so blatantly saying there would be a shakeup on the roster.
