like the purpose of the deal. some guys here does't get the idea that we can't deal JO for the value he USED to have or even at EQUAL value.(this is IF we are to deal JO. IF) cause; 1.injured history 2.many vet's already moved to contender or young&talented yet need a vet teams 3.it's the Pacers who is willing to deal(or known as this way for ever. even though it wasn't confirmed officially by the INSIDER)
is it only me that doesn't know how to add a draft pick on Trade Machine or is it impossible.
d_c, i don't agree that orlando will not be willing to take on another big contract. owners do understand that, in order to contend, you almost always have to pay luxury tax. orlando's risky move (shard max contract) looks like it's paying off, so the logical next move is to swap those expiring contracts for another impact guy.
the question is, is carter and his 3 years remaining that impact guy for orlando? i don't really have a good read on that. though i would think a player like j.o. (big guy, shorter contract) would be more attractive to orlando than vince.
i expect both orlando and miami to be making some kind of move before the deadline. their expiring contracts are valuable right now - with so many teams looking to cut salary - and letting those contracts expire won't put either team substantially under the cap.
