Diogu and Graham were the only positives from this game. Both Quis and Shawne have been horrible of late.

I saw Ron Burgandy this evening. He was the fourth funniest person at the show. (I put Will Ferrell ahead of him, but I don't have any good reason for that)

I have a feeling that you ranked TheDoddage higher than me for posting the box score.

    Obviously...Since I never rank myself.

What can I say, I'm just humble like that. Humble and really, really awesome. And, of course, handsome.

And if you don't think that boxscore is funny than you clearly didn't see Quis' or Shawne's lines.

i dunno if it was simply i was in a bad mood already or what, but i don't think ive been more disgusted with a pacers game all year. our rotation defense has never been worse...i was absolutely out of my mind frustrated every time the pistons were on offense. im pretty sure i said the quote "I hate you so much" to just about every single player on our team at one point.
Reggie Miller is a God. Period.

    Passion. Pride. Pacers.

    It's ALWAYS Miller Time.

line of the night: "David Harrison's picnic basket is missing a few sandwiches"

Not much to see tonight. Flip Saunders basically let his B team play the majority of the game. Rip Hamilton spent his 2 quarters practicing for the 3-point contest. Billups, Sheed and Tayshaun more or less just messed around.

Typical get-away game. the kids are ready to play, and the vets are thinking about warm beaches.

As for the Pacers, I spent most of the game wondering why Troy Murphy collects a $9 million paycheck. Really, His ineptitude defensively and his inability to get a shot off inside 20 feet is staggering.

Probably the worst Palace atmosphere I've seen for the Pacers since the early 90's. Everyone just took the win for granted before tipoff. I remember when teams used to do that back in the day, and it irritated the hell out of me.

Really happy for Amir Johnson tonight. He's developing like I hoped.

So this is what it has come to... A televised road game barely registers any posts at all over an hour after the game.

...And to tell you the truth. I faded out of the game and had it on in the background before I turned the game off entirely in the 2nd half to watch the IU vs Wsc game I had DVR'ed.

Unfortunately, PD is just mirroring the rest of the Pacer fanbase.

I checked in once to see what the score was....saw that we were down by double-digits, wasn't surprised by it and decided to go to dinner instead of paying attention to the game.

Pacer ball maybe more fast paced....but I don't really care as much as I used to cuz I know that we are going nowhere anytime soon. I will pay attention more after this season....assuming that we make some major move.

For some reason I feel like we have a better chance to beat Boston, Spurs, Lakers, etc. than we do the Pistons.

They are experienced, clutch, and have our number.

I thought about watching the second half, checked the score on nba.com, then did something else. With our personnel, there's no point in watching a Piston's game. You know the result.

He was injured at the last game against Boston near the end. It looked like he twisted an ankle.

They said he wanted to go tonight but the staff wouldn't let him.

It didn't help that we didn't have a single true point guard out there either.

I missed the game, but I'm guessing it didn't help that they are a way better basketball team either.

Whoever that 54 for the Pistons is he's a hoss. But they also let him climb all over peoples back, push, and shove just willy-nilly. Had that been Harrison he'd a been outta the game in 2 minutes time.

Jeff Foster spends most of his time doing that, too. The NBA doesn't call over-the-back fouls unless a player is pushed in the back, which is the difference between maxiell and harrison. It's not like the rules are any different between them.

I watch Maxiell every night. He certainly does not push off on rebounds. He doesn't need to, with his insane vertical leap. His wide body naturally clears space by itself once its airborne.

As for the rest of it, yes Maxiell is a very physical player. He has to be, or he wouldn't be in the NBA as a 6'5" power forward. But I don't think he gets away with more than other guys.
