    Default Portland Trade

    Incoming Players
    Jarrett Jack
    6-3 PG from Georgia Tech
    9.5 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 3.8 apg in 26.8 minutes
    Raef LaFrentz
    6-11 PF / C from Kansas
    1.9 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 0.2 apg in 7.1 minutes
    Outgoing Players
    David Harrison
    7-0 C from Colorado
    4.2 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 0.4 apg in 12.5 minutes
    Jeff Foster
6-11 C / PF from Southwest Texas State
    6.6 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 1.8 apg in 23.8 minutes
    Marquis Daniels
    6-5 SG from Auburn
    8.1 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 2.0 apg in 19.6 minutes

This is probably giving up too much to get Jack, but after next season we'd also get a huge salary dump when LaFrentz comes off the books.

Portland would get two useful players.

Portland can't take too many players back.

They've got a full roster and would potentially need to cut a player or two to make room for those they will draft. They also have the rights to 6 players including Koponen and Fernandez that they could bring over.

I wouldn't think Foster is that much of an upgrade over Frye or Joel. Daniels would be redundant to Roy, but could be useful if Roy is out for a while.

I would love to see Jack as a Pacer as he would bring a defensive PG that would help prevent dribble penetration, but would also be good at running the team.

Maybe we get someone like that in the draft this year or next... AJ Price?

That's not horrible, but Portland doesn't really need to make that trade.
