So let me if I have this straight...
If one of our Pacemates isn't cutting it, the Pacers can call up one of these young ladies to take her spot?

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

My stellar photography makes most of the girls look better than they are....(Sarcasm )

There are a few good ones, and I posted only photos of the cream of the crop...Don't get me wrong, they are all nice ladies. I am mostly referring to their dancing/cheer ability. Having spent quite a bit of time watching (and photographing) the Pacemates, it is pretty easy to tell that the pool they drew these girls from was pretty shallow.

I would say on looks alone, there are maybe five girls who could make the Pacemates squad, and on dancing ability alone, there are maybe three or four. If both qualities are strict requirements, I would narrow that to two or three.

Again, I'm not trying to be derogatory. The Mad Ant ladies are all very nice and very personable. They have a good attitude and all but a couple genuinely looked like they were having a good time and were trying to convey that to the fans. I'm not sure how much they practice or what the ladies' backgrounds in dance are, but the routines weren't that impressive.

It was almost like what Bball is saying is close to the truth and a talent heirarchy exists. They truly were D-league cheerleaders, where the expectations are considerably lower than at the NBA level. They can all dance far better than I can, but it is obvious in some of the group shots I took (and didn't post) that they have problems being in sync and performing as a unit. I'm not sure how many of them are in the position to have aspirations to make a NBA-level dance team and how many of them are local girls/local students who just wanted something to do and wanted some extra money.

    Pretttyyyyyyyy prettayyyyyyyy.....prett-ay good.

    2nd picture. Pretty good.

    Heywoode, you're pretty good.
Thanks! Keep in mind also, that the photos posted are less than one-tenth the original size so that they are easy to post and don't take up a ton of space. The fuzziness you see is much less apparent in the originals. I normally don't allude to the fact that the filesizes are cut down so severely when I post photos, but the quality level of these bother me to the point I thought it worth mentioning this time.
Regarding the second photo; my friend and I were debating on the presence of undergarments, and I just HAD to try and come up with some photographic evidence to show one way or the other! A little bit pervy, but hey, I'M a little bit pervy!

And that's why they're still in the DLeague. That's rookie.
