For years I'd been frustrated by my local cable company, Insight, because their digital cable service did not offer NBA League Pass.
Eventually, I gave up and got Dish Network. Well heading into the holiday season I was made aware that Insight was switching over to Comcast in my area.
I figured this was my chance to go back to (digital) cable (Dish is OK, but the weather interference annoys the hell out of me).
Turns out, after talking with customer service (Comcast), while it's true within the next week or two I will officially be in Comcast country, "We do not plan on making any changes to your services in the immediate future."
