    Default Keeper League Question

Who is the best player you've added to your team during this season?

Either trade or a FA pick up.

My top pick would be Josh Boone, a FA pickup. Varejao isn't bad either.

San Antonio dropped Kurt Thomas after he rode the bench for 2 games, nobody even picked him up on waivers. I picked him up out of free agency (I dropped a nobody).

    F/C, 27 minutes a game, 1.05 fppm.

He's the real reason I've had a good season. Without him ... not so good.

Yeah, that was one of my better decisions. My pick up of the year thus far would have to be Mikki Moore. He has filled my center minutes when needed at a decent clip so far. of course if I had kept Thomas.......

Sorry, didn't mean to rub it in.

To be fair, you made a decent call, it just backfired. Nobody else even bothered to express interest in him on waivers and this was at the beginning of the season and he's a center. He was nothing but an old man riding pine.

The only reason I grabbed him was his first game he played he got something like 1.2 fppm. And I still questioned the pick up at the time. No way could anyone have seen this kind of season coming from him. I certainly didn't. If it weren't for luck as they say ...

I know you were not rubbing it in just stating the facts. I have more issues with my guards right now anyway.

I'm not sure. I think Stackhouse has given me some help, but I think Daniels also is a good candidate.

    Time will tell .

Antawn Jamison, even though I could've had him straight up for Ben Gordon. Instead, I gave up on Travis Outlaw too early to get Jeff Green, too.

And then Green hit a gigantic rookie wall.

Still, getting Jamison has been a boost.

Now: Travis Outlaw and (hopefully) Ray Allen. When I traded for Ben Gordon I thought that he would provide the biggest benefit. Outlaw has been fantastic.

Future: Acie Law. Law was who I originally wanted in the draft. I ended up having to draft Jeff Green. Getting him as a throw in in the Ray Allen/Tyrus Thomas deal was very helpful.
