Is there any other MMA fans out there?

If so who is your favorite fighter?

Mine personally is Kenny Florian or Wanderli Silva

    Love MMA and Boxing.

Chuck Liddell of course. I know alot of people don't like him but Matt Hughes. This is a little biased but David Terrell (he's an old good friend) he doesn't stay active like he should though.

Favorite fighter is Forrest Griffin, but I'm a new convert to the Kurt Pellegrino fan club after he took that wicked high kick to the chops on UFC Fight Night, pushing his bottom teeth completely through his lip, and still hung on to win the fight!

Anyone know a good gym where I could recreationally train MMA here in town? I've got no plans on getting in a ring or cage, but I figure I'd rather stay fit while learning boxing and jiu-jitsu as opposed to just lifting weights and running.

I have been looking for a dojo that does MMA as well. There is one in Carmel but I am not sure of the name. The dojo I go to is in Alexandria. It's a Karate studio ran by Larry Davenport. I kind of use my Muai Thai and BJJ during individual practice. I don't ever see my in a ring or octagon either, but it is a great way to get exercise or focus and disciplined.

That would be a long drive for me, as I live on the south side. I love it here, but all the "good stuff" is up north. I hate being a second class citizen in this town
