Default Survivor Vote off a Pacer?

Let's do this survivor style everyone just pick one and tell us why:

    Contestants:

    1. Troy Murphy
    2. Jeff Foster
    3. Jamaal Tinsley
    4. Mike Dunleavy
    5. Jermaine ONeal
    6. David Harrison
    7. Shawne Williams
    8. Danny Granger
    9. Stephen Graham
    10. Andre Owens
    11. Ike Diogu
    12. Marquis Daniels
    13. Travis Diener
    14. Kareem Rush
    15. Courtney Sims

Who will be voted off the island? My Pick is:Courtney Sims

Reasoning- They poor guy just sits behind the benchwith no opportunity to play. He is voted off!

Sims was released, so he shouldn't be a contestant.

I'm not sure if this game takes salary into account, but if it does, without a doubt I vote off the Murph.

    If it doesn't, Murph.

Shouldn't everyone begin with 10 and then we count down?

    Tinsley = Anti-clutch
I can only take so many games that are close that he blows away with poor decisions and that dreadful running floater. The Pacers would be better off with Marquis running point. If only Tinsley knew his role, I would like him a lot more, but he just continues to try and be the hero and all he does is mess things up. Pass the ball your a point guard!

Heh, the funny thing with Tinsley is that he's our only player I actually wish would disappear down the stretch. Unfortunately, that seems to be an exclusive ability of everyone else on the team.

    The Hulk!!

I think theres much more better centers in the D-league right now watching the showcase, David has regressed so much, and this drug thing just made it worse.. he is so tempermental that only does not good to the team unlike the temper of Rasheed, where he tries to retaliate by playing good, (though back in his early years he would just yell).

still, i think theres much more better D-league centers than him.

    Tough call...
It's either Tinsley or O Neal.

Can I just vote them both off? Neither player is going to be part of any future contention. Both hurt the team in more ways than they help... but for different reasons. Both are paid too much but JO is one of the top paid players in the game, not only on the team.

If I can't vote them both off I guess I'll vote JO off because of his contract.

Really, I'd love to vote Tinsley off first, but JO's contract is just too huge for what he brings and we don't appear to have management or coaching with enough balls to bench JO if he doesn't practice (and that's just not good for the team). And nobody is going to take the contract of a player that is so grossly overpaid, injury prone, and so over-rated and exposed and give us anything of value at this point.

Yes, my enjoyment of the Pacers will be increased when those two are no longer part of the picture.

JO vanishing would obviously help us more but I just can't take watching much more of mel mel.

    So many Jamaal haters.

I wish I could find the lengthy thread I started during the 61 game season or the year after. It was about the need to trade JT and why he was the root cause of our problems.

I got shellacked by my PD brethren.

Can I vote off 50% of Troy's contract, and still keep him around? If so, that's my vote.

    Larry Bird.
I was gonna say that but then I decided to just include all upper management. Starting on July 20th 2000....not blunders but missteps.

07/20/00 Hired Isiah Thomas when they should have hired Carlisle.
    08/01/00 Re-signed Croshere to a 7 year $51 mil contract.
08/11/00 Lost Mark Jackson to free agency.
09/27/00 Lost Rik to retirement ( due to player movement and coaching choice imo).
10/05/01 Exercised extension on Bender's contract.
    10/30/02 Re-signed Bender to a 4 year $27 mil contract.
07/11/03 Hired Larry Bird as president of basketball operations.
07/24/03 Traded B. Miller & Mercer for two absolute stiffs.
08/27/03-09/03/03 Fired Zeke and replaced him with Rick when Mike Brown was the choice for that team.
10/22/03 Exercised an extension on Brezec got bailed out in the expansion draft on that one.
06/24/04 Drafted known dildo David Harrison passing on Varejao, Duhon & Ariza. All players better suited for the Pacers.
07/15/04 Traded Al for known ballhogging hothead Jackson.
    07/16/04 Re-signed AJ to a 4 year $11 mil contract.
07/27/04 Signed Eddie Gill to a 2 year guaranteed contract?
    10/29/04 Re-signed Jamaal to a 6 year $40 mil contract.
06/07/05 Hired Chuck person as an assistant with the eventual upgrade to defensive coach?
06/28/05 Drafted Erazem Lorbek while leaving players like Blatche & Gomes on the board.
07/25/05 Signed Runi to a 3 year $12 mil contract.
08/25/05 Traded James Jones for a second rounder.
06/28/06 Traded 3 second rounder for White then signed him to a two year guaranteed contract then cut him. On top of that they passed on Craig Smith, Daniel Gibson & Paul Millsap
6/28/06 Drafted Shawne Williams while passing on Josh Boone, Rondo, Lowry & Farmar. The last three would have actually filled a need they can't seem to fill otherwise.
07/12/06 Traded Austin and his expiring contract for an oft injured wing player with no outside shot.
07/28/06 Signed Baston to a 2 year contract without assuring themselves he'd stay if he panned out...which he didn't and he left anyway.
08/22/06 Traded a 1st rounder for a second chance with Al.
10/05/06 Re-signed Rick to a contract extension and gave him a new title.
01/17/07 The Warriors trade that put the team even further behind the 8 ball.
06/28/07 Traded a second rounder to get Stanko.
10/12/07 Exercised an extension on Ike.

I'm not gonna get into who they invite to camps and stuff but you can go back and look at some of the guys they've brought in like that Lukasz Obrzut guy from Kentucky. Why would they even waste time with a guy like that? I also haven't mentioned some of the non-moves they've made ( ie. not addressing situations that clearly need some addressing).

It is a close race between Harrison with his wildness and drugs or Tinsley with
    his constant bad attitude.

Harrison never plays and does less damage so I choose Tinsley.

Two more years and JO's massive contract is gone.
I suspect he will be traded away somewhere before the beginning of his last year
to a contender who needs a roll player off the bench like Zo did.

    Diener.

Against teams like Golden State, the best you can do is trade baskets because Travis can't do that defense thing.

So now the day before Holloween can always be officially known as Hell Day here in Pacerland.
