The Heat traded their 1st round pick to the TWolves in the Ricky Davis / Mark Blount trade....which means that they can't trade their 2008 draft pick.

I think that Miami might be a decent trading partner in that they are currently sucking it up out there and actually has an offense that fits JONeal's style. JONeal should be able to fit with Wade and Shaq as a viable 2nd/3rd scoring option on the team and can play at the slower pace that is required if Shaq is playing.

However, I would be surprised if JONeal would go to the Heat without them sending back any contracts of significant length.

I proposed a similiar trade on Real GM:

    JONeal+Deiner+Graham

    for

    JWill+Earl Barron+Haslem+Dorell Wright

    or

    JWill+Earl Barron+Blount+Cook

We get some salarycap relief and either a solid F that fits our needs ( Haslem ) and an acceptable SG Propsect ( Wright ) or an acceptable Big Man ( Blount ) and a solid SG prospect ( Cook ).

And before you ask...yes...I do think that JONeal's trade value is that low

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

If I'm not mistaken, that pick is lottery protected this year, and they're sure to be in the lottery. Would they still be restricted from trading the pick then? ah

    Why??
Zo already retired.. Davis is pretty good, Williams is alright, but too much like the players we already have (inconsistant) and Cook is also inconsistant.

But a lottery pick would be nice.
