pho trades - marcus banks, eric piatkowski, 2008 1st (atl)
pho receives - jeff foster

foster, although a great 'glue' guy, is just a wasted body on this team. and what does he hold together on this team anyway? he will never have higher trade value than he has now and we need to max out on his worth while we can. the atl pick could be HUGE for us, and banks is certainly a better backup than owens. phoenix desperately needs a center like foster to compete with the powers out west and would probably do this deal without much hesitation.

Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Indiana and Phoenix being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Indiana and Phoenix had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
