Exclamation Saint Louis scores Division 1 record-low 20 points in 29-point loss to George Washington

Fewest points scored in a game in the shot-clock era. They were down 25-7 at halftime.

As someone who goes to George Washington, this is a hell of a surprise. After three straight NCAA tournament berths we've been having a bad season, losing to SUNY Binghampton (or something) of all teams and barely beating the powerhouse Longwood Lancers. We've gotten creamed by Alabama, UCLA, and Va. Tech.

Most of our fans expected to lose to SLU. To not only beat them but to hold them to 20 points in a quirky happening in what over the years has been a quirky program. I guess our most noticeable deed has been the fact that we provided the league with the late, great Yinka Dare.
