1-Year Bird Must receive consent to trade players with a 1-year contract, excluding options, who will become Early Bird or Bird free agents at the end of the contract, or players who have accepted a qualifying offer for a 5th season following the 4th option season on the Rookie Scale. If the player consents, he will lose his Bird rights and become a non-Bird free agent at the end of the contract.

Outgoing Players: Danny Granger, Andre Owens, David Harrison

Golden State gets Danny, a backup point guard, and a center for the first time ever. We get a defensive stopper in Pietrus who can hit the 3, a pure shooter in Belinelli, which would mesh better with JO. Hudson just makes the deal work out personnel-wise, since GS is at the max amount of players. So, what do you think?

On behalf of the Warriors, where do I sign? We trade 2 non-starters and an injured guy who's never going to play again and we get a good young starter?

That's really not much return for Danny Granger.

Why in the hell do people want to trade Danny so badly? I don't understand it.

Pietrus is a guy I would not mind having. But not better than Danny.

Macro might end up being a nice scorer but right now is unproven. And honestly my issue with this team is we have so many good swingman and what we lack is one really good one. This just adds to that problem.

Not a trade the Pacers would make.

I would have to say if we are trading Danny in any way there had better be Murphy in there for a fat expiring to even things out. .

    IC.

Still though it seems others have been down on Danny and I don't get it.

    I'd love to have Pietrus.

Trust me. Pietrus just isn't that good of a basketball player. He's a very good athlete and sometimes good hustle/energy guy, but he's not that good at basketball.
