Official Thread for Q1 2008 round.
EVERYONE IS INVITED TO JOIN. If you want a little motivation to get into better shape in 2008, look no further. Post your progress and tips, etc. here. It takes three things: Exercise a little more, eat a little less and periodically post your weight.
RULES OF PLAY:
Joining the pool is easy. Just post your starting weight in this thread and you are officially in.
There are two categories: "In it to win it" and "Fantasy League." Your category needs to be announced at your first weigh-in. Please no take backs later in the round.
"In it to win it" is a $10 buy-in per 3 month round, winner take all pool. "Fantasy League" is the same commitment to post but with no money involved.
You can join at any time, but the final weigh-in will be March 31. Any final weight listed after 12:00 am Indiana time on April 1 will only count as the starting weight of the following round and your last weigh in from the round prior will be used to calculate your results.
The poster who loses the highest percentage of weight is the winner. Here's the formula: Beginning weight (-) Current weight (=) Weight loss (divided by) Beginning weight (=) Percentage of body weight lost.
