    Default Interesting Tandem Stats

Interesting two man stats from 82games.com. They are per 48 minute stats.

Here are our best and worst combinations of guys who play 15+ mpg.

    Best Pairs:

    'Quis/JO +9
    'Quis/Tins +7
    Jeff/JO +7
    Dun/Williams +7

    Worst Pairs

    'Quis/Granger -16
    Williams/Granger -13
    Granger/Murphy -12
    'Quis/Foster -12

I don't know that we really learn much from this, but it's interesting.

Someone wanna gimme a rundown of the Lenovo +/-? I get that it's the point differential when a player is in/out of the game. But what does that tell us, if anything?

Personally, I don't think it means that much in any given game, because too much of the point swing either way depends on who else is on the floor. Over many games, perhaps it's a better indicator of an individual's contribution....the lenovo stats are interesting because you can get them in 1,2,3,4 or 5-player combinations. Seeing the +/- and the +/-per minute for the various 5-man combos seems useful.

I find that hard to believe. Our very best pair only has a +9?
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

The per 48 min stats are a different kettle of fish...pretty neat graph they have going over there though:

    Really good find!

I find it most interesting to look at the total minutes a combination has played together to see "if it's been given much of a chance to succeed or fail"...

Clearly, I think anybody but Troy would be what I take from these stats:

    Minutes +/-
    Tinsley Murphy 341 -42
    Tinsley Foster 471 +42
    Tinsley O'Neal 455 +36
    Tinsley Harrison 186 +54
