This is similar to the game against Portland.. we should win this game and we really should!

Knicks coming off an impressive win against the Nets, JC was great. hope we contain him

Beating the Nets at this point is not really impressive. They're on the verge of implosion.

Yeah this could be another classic "trap" game for the Pacers. They should beat the Knicks but it is a road game and you never know how'll Granger, Murphy, Dunleavy will perform.

If JO can't go, it'll be a little tougher.

Larry is not coming back, he didn't have a meeting with Orlando for not reason, yeah he is coming back to the NBA but not to the Pacers, the notion that he is a taking a year off and then come back is absurd.

I picked other because I really see all of these teams improving but I just can't see the sixers being better than any of these teams.

    On to the game,
The Pacers need this win. I don't expect O'Neal to get much PT tonight.

I think Deiner will get some minutes.
Ike and Shawne will probrably get some PT.
The goal tonight is to wear the Knicks down. We need to keep our guys fresh using most of our bench.

My initial reaction was the same thing. On paper, Philly is horrible.

But their November schedule was pretty brutal and they still made it to 10-14 thus far. Their November losses were NJ, TOR, NO, NO, DAL, WAS, DET, GS & UTAH...not a cupcake in the bunch (maybe NJ). And since a 5-12 start, they've won 5 of their last 6, including wins vs HOU and @ CLE. And aside from us and LAL, the rest of December is a cakewalk.

Could give a young team some good confidence to be .500ish going into the New Year. But...can't say I've watched them for more than a few minutes. I guess we'll get to see them up close on Wednesday.

    Personally, I'll be watching Iggy.

    Is Jermaine playing?

As much as I wanna see Ike out on the court again, I really don't want them to rush him back.

I really hope that Harrison and Foster are up to playing some solid minutes. Curry and that huge butt of his is gonna push the frontcourt around. Same goes for Zach Randolph......they may have a PF/C rotation that plays as much defense as a lamp-post....but they can really put up some points if they try.

I said Philly. I expect NY to shake things up before the deadline. They have the pieces to put together a run.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Looks like a lot of slacking going on out there.

The Knicks must sort of spread that kind of attitude.

    My vote is for other.

Either Milwaukee or Phily will be at the bottom, me suspects.

I know people will argue the Bucks are decent, but there's a tradition with that team.

Push me to chose between the two, and I would say Phily.

I think Mia will do a trade to get better, Chicago has started to get better already though they might get a new coach and possibly pull a trade, Mia does have DWade who is starting to get healthy though I'm not sure he's 100%...

NY is bad, has talent, bad HC/GM, might get a new HC and/or pull a trade. They have the talent to play a win some games but don't think that they'll be worse than the 76ers or possibly the Bucks.
