They've said he has a good chance of returning.

I'll believe Marvin is going to play when I see him on the field minutes before kick-off.

He didn't practice this week I believe, and Peyton said "I wouldn't count on it"
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Everything I have seen points to him not playing this weekend. Phil Wilson had something in his blog this week to the effect of we'll see you in January, Marvin. If our other receivers can stay healthy, I still think we can weather the storm. Gonzo is coming. The tight ends were getting more involved at Atlanta, with Clark and Utecht both scoring TD's.

Ugoh, Hagler, Giordano are all supposed to play.

Here's an article from Yahoo today about Marvin:
    http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_yl...v=ap&type=lgns

Here is one about the "Man-child" (Ugoh) returning and mostly about how the rest of the line is shaping up. Although Charlie Johnson looked shakey at times playing left tackle, I think he can be a really good right tackle. He was blowing up Bears left and right in the Super Bowl playing RT:

Will suit up at power forward for the P's soon as well, if J.O.doesn't return:

Even if he's ready, I hope they give him a couple more weeks off; just to make sure. No reason to rush him back in.

I wasn't trying to sound like an ***, but I'm just doubting Ugoh plays. Really all of our guys that have been out for a while, I'll believe they're playing when I see them playing.

I do think there is a better chance Ugoh plays than there has been in recent weeks, but we'll all see on Sunday.

Hey, I was just trying to cheer you up. I'm with you though on even believing Ugoh will play until I see him on the field. But, Dungy really talked like he was and he wasn't even on the questionable list. So if he doesn't play then the Colt's are actively placing disinformation.

Ah, I didn't hear that. Good to know.

I guess now it's just Marvin who I will believe is playing when I see it.

This should be the week of all weeks to see most of the 'iffy' players make their returns.

Giordano doesn't get talked about a lot, but he could really help improve our coverage units and make our dime package even stronger.

    Harrison not playing?!

I am SHOCKED!. Absolutely SHOCKED I tell you!

This has to be the most bizarre thing to happen to any player on a team I have followed. Every week it's the same story, right after the game they tell us he might be ready for the next week. Then Monday or Tuesday Dungy says that "if he practices some next week, we'll see what happens." Then of course on Wednesday he doesn't practice and Dungy tells us that if he doesn't practice he won't play. Then on Thursday or Friday we hear that it's highly unlikely. Then right before game time we hear that if it were a playoff game, he'd probably play.

Then that cycle repeats it self the next week.

I have never followed anything so bizarre with any team I have followed; Pacers, Colts, or IU. Most of that is probably because MARVIN NEVER TALKS. If this were practically any other athlete that had missed all of these weeks, you would DEFINITELY hear SOMETHING from them by now. They would be updating the media on their situation, saying they were getting better or what have you. But not Marvin.

This has just been so strange.

Marvin is a quiet guy and I don't blame him for not talking to the media. The media is so biased and evil, I wouldn't talk to them either.

I know what you're saying. I don't think the local media is that bad though. What I mean is, say it were Peyton or Reggie Wayne that this were the case with. They couldn't resist saying something to the media about their injury and to try to give the fans indication as to whether they'll come back. But with Marvin, fans are left in the dark. I'm not knocking him, that's just Marvin. And obviously fans aren't "entitled" to know anything, but we're the ones paying for tickets, jerseys, sweatshirts, etc. The Colts or any other team are nothing without the fans. It's just nice for the fans to know what's going on.

It's possible also that within the team context, the nature of Marvin's return keeps changing. The Colt's always state that there first goal every year is to win the division. That led me and apparently a lot of other fan's to believe Marvin was shooting for this week to return. But perhaps, with the reemergence of Gonzalez, and the continued strength of the defense, that calculus has changed and the team and Marvin feel like there is still some leeway on when it is imperitive he return. If there is any chance of a backslide in the healing process, maybe the Colt's feel that is too great of a chance to take, risking the playoffs.

I know very little about bursa sac injuries, but I still think if this were the playoffs Marvin would be out there.

This is becoming a recurring joke. Just tell us he isn't going to be playing until the playoffs (at best) and end the suffering.

I *almost* traded TO for him in my fantasy league back in September. Glad I didn't.

I trade Mcgahee for him in September...not so lucky, I'm afraid.

I would probably just drop him if he were on my fantasy team. I think it's blatantly obvious that this guy isn't going to play until the playoffs. I think if he were going to play in the reg season, he would have played in the Jax game (a huge game).

Him playing in the playoffs is useless to fantasy owners.

Question: What is Harrison's fantasy value next year? Obviously he will be used in all leagues if he is playing, but are the days gone where he is an early round pick?

    Probably.
