    Default updates on site

It seems the parser (very important for getting the scores) is done and dusted, this means we are entering the very last stages of the site.

It will be tested tonight and tomorrow during day and moved to the PD server tonight.

Unfortunately there is a sync problem between the main coder and me, as in I work to much at the moment and he's available where I am not.

We are trying to "overcome" this problem (really I am very unimportant )

Pls everyone make sure your email is correct on the ws site and or in my database (here on PD) otherwise you WILL miss out on info,

Finally, ANY communication with me HAS to be via EMAIL at this moment, getting the site here on blackberry is a pain and I have really not the time to get PM's check and answer them.

Just email me and you will have the fastest answer possible.

Abel, I just installed a new Mobile Template I found from a vb mod site that I hope will make it much easier for you and any other mobile PD browsers (I know Gnome does) to get around.

Ok after we got the kinks out of the parser, we now "gathered" the scores from last night to our database we will do the same tonight.
This means that our site will still start per game 1 and not later.

We will move the entire echalada to the PD server over night, and will finish the site (for now) before 6 PM tomorrow.

You will then find your teams on the site, (providing I can find them all over the place) and I will try and use the lineup you used on hoops, if you want another one pls let me know, even if it differs per game.

as usual, contacting me is per email, abel@able-towers.com

I will also need the "scoring method" from both leagues, if the Commish's would be so kind as to send me them, thank you.

After 6 PM tomorrow (Indy time) I will send out usernames and passwords for the league you are in

You can then manipulate your team yourselves

From then on I like to hear any problems, anything you can think of, but please please please by email because I really am to busy to keep track of threads at the moment.

May the force be with us

uhhh well slightly less impressive is that we made some rather mistyfying errors in the setup of the system.

The good news is that we got those kinks out almost as well, though it did mean back to the drawing board for parts.

As it was no user could have more then 1 team, not even in different leagues and players could only be used once across all leagues

    Not a good idea.

Once again, we are ironing out those kinks, we DID gather all the scores thus far, so we do not need to start with game 2 or 3, but you will just see it a little later, before you can start interacting with the system.

We have added a routine to pick up the scores daily so we do not have to worry, but that is tested as we speak so to say.

Seeing as it is Friday, (well now at least) and we want to make sure we have not made anymore mistakes, AND trying to keep an overworked coder/genius at bay (he's having to many ideas and to little time to implement it all) I have decided that we will "finish" this over the weekend.

So expect a shout from me somewhere this weekend telling you to log in

    have a nice one.

If it remains open we will be returning to Sports.ws, at least the ABA will.

The plan is for the KL to use sports.ws as well.

I am very, very willing to give Able's site a go if it was up. But I'm also very aware that it will take thousands of dollars worth of man-hours (this is what Able does for a living) gratis to get it going - and to work the kinks out at the very least for the first few weeks. In fact he has very likely already put that into it. And for zero financial return.

I neither expect that or ask that of him and I certainly appreciate the efforts he put forward in trying to get a site going even if it didn't work out.
