When he has those numbers against Duncan or Yao, then I will flirt with a comparison such as that.
Yao might give him some fits due to being one of the few players in the league bigger than he is, but there's no way Tim Duncan could ever dream of guarding the 7'2" 290 lb. of muscle that is Andrew Bynum. I respect Duncan, the most consistently great player in the league, but he's not nearly big enough nor quick enough to handle Kareem 2.0.

Duncan could probably handle Kareem 1.0 so I don't see him having trouble Bynum. For some reason people underrate Duncan's defense. He's the best two way player of the last decade.

Duncan and Garnett are really close in that regard. Duncan's a better offensive player and better overall, but I believe KG is a better defender.

Oh well, still 19-8 and rollin' tonight with...

The Hawks are for real. They are really, really deep and athletic. They took us down to the wire tonight and we didn't even play that bad.

Yep. I've made a conscious effort to watch both of their games thus far because they're such a fun team to watch. I like the direction of that team. Things are finally starting to come together for them, and I could see them fighting for a playoff spot this year. Josh Smith and Al Horford in the frontcourt is so crazy on many different levels.

Pacers showing some good numbers, in terms of comparisons with last year.

Near top of the league in defensive FG%
    Near top in rebounding
    Mid-level in FG%
    Near top in blocks
    Near top in steals
    Near top in PPG

These numbers will obviously change, but an interesting start.

Also, Pacers are #1 in fouls per game (not surprising after last night)

I don't think them playing well early on in this season has much to do with Josh's play.. he's turning it over and taking really bad shots. Joe Johnson is going to carry this team as far as they can go. Most underrated player in the league by far if you ask me.

He is really underrated, but he had much more of a high profile when he played for the Suns. However he wanted more money so off to Atlanta he went. I really wonder if he's all about the bottom line or if he kinda regrets that now? They do have Nash running the point so he might have just really clogged up the rotation out there.

I think last night might have been, actually.

If not, it'll definitely be tonight.

    BNN Breaking News
LOS ANGELES - Laker's center Andrew Bynum continues to look awesome, scoring 19 points (6-7 shooting) and grabbing 9 rebounds in just 19 minutes in a Laker win over reigning Western Conference Finalist the Utah Jazz.

Bynum is now averaging 11 points and 9 rebounds a game in just 20 minutes, while shooting an amazing 65% from the field. By comparison, oft-injured Pacer's power forward Jermaine O'Neal is currently shooting a woeful 34.8%.

And in other news, Jason Maxiell is still a power forward trapped in a very fat shooting guards body. How he was drafted, let alone in the first round, is truly one of life's great mysteries. But then again, the same could be said for Darko Milicic, Rodney White, Mateen Cleaves, Carlos Delfino, Aaron Afflalo, and Rodney "I Suckey" Stuckey.

But there's always NBDL 3rd stringer Cheick Samb and Aaron Afflalo and his meaty 3.7 ppg, .7 rpg, .7 apg averages. These two, combined with fellow future Hall of Famer, the 9'3" 755 pound Amir Johnson, will continue to lead the Pistons to more playoff dominance. That is, provided another 2nd round rookie doesn't decide to hand them their asses once again.
