Some Brazilian guy named Kaka...pronounced as you might guess...just was named the player of the year for some international soccer federation. We need more names like that in the NBA.
Too bad, that you do not speak estonian. Hes name is in estonian ... well, im not gonna say that loud, but: the name doesn't ruin the man - hell of a player!

I think kaka is well...poo...in most languages, actually. His cross-cultural success is quite remarkable when considering this.

I bet there's a language somewhere in which saying "Dun Dun" or "Mel Mel" can get you thrown out of the bar.

Where's Foul Monday when you need him? Ron is straight-up ignoring Reggie Theus and his teammates now.

    http://myespn.go.com/blogs/truehoop/0-28-4...ay-Bullets.html

"'When Theus calls the play and it isn't for [Ron] Artest, he's so reluctant to let them get into a play he's not involved with,'' said an NBA advance scout who has been studying Artest recently. 'He'll be running down the floor and he should go through to the opposite corner, but instead he'll turn and post up. He might be open and he definitely is good enough that he can be effective in a quick post-up, but that's not the play. I can't tell you how many times that happened. He is playing like a very selfish player right now. Maybe he doesn't like the team, or he doesn't think the team is good and so he has to put up numbers to make up for it. I knew he was a time bomb in the past, but I always respected his game. But he has gone down a notch or two because of the selfish attitude.'"

Doc Rivers was an idiot for putting him in the game.

On a side note, I freaking love Afflalo. I can't get enough of his defense.

Talk about not having your head in the game. Looked like he was inbounding to the ref.

    Well........................

Portland won it's 9th in a row. If they beat Denver on Friday they'll be the 4th seed in the West.

My two favorite teams are Blazers and Pacers. Both came into the season predicted to be lotto teams. Right now their both 14-12 and in the playoff hunt. Hells yes.

Only thing I learned is Boston's bench is terrible.

You didn't know that already? I think any team with a good - talented and deep - bench could beat them at least five times out of ten. Do I think our bench is talented and deep? Yes I do.

Rodney Stuckey finally cleared to begin his NBA career. Yeesh that was the most frustrating broken hand ever.
