This game, as anticipated, is a sleeper.

And Portland's offense is filled with unintelligent decisions. Not necessarily mistakes or turnovers - but just a lot of sets and possessions that make no sense. It's kind of annoying to watch.

On the NBA box scores they have added a +/- stat which is nice and BA stat which I'm not sure what that means. Any ideas?

Jarrett Jack has 3 of them and nobody else has registered one as yet.

I would assume it means that 3 of his shot attempts have been blocked.

Makes sense. Will be interesting to see how JO fares in this category this season. He has been one of the league leaders in this regard in recent years hasn't he?

Yeah, I think I recall seeing something on 82games.com that put him at the top of the list for that particular statistic.

Reggie: "I never like to see big guys trying to take a charge."

Seems funny when you consider JO is very adept at doing exactly that.

Yea man, Block that ***t instead! You are a BIG guy! Dont gamble with fouls... unless the player is very good at it (example JO).

is Brandan Wright in the rotation?
Brandan Wright will be on the inactive list to start the season. He's probably headed to the D League along with 2 other rookies once the D League season starts. It is unlikely he will play much in the first half of the season. He had an MRI on his back the other day and they said he's fine.

He'll probably be active in the final 2 games that Jackson is suspended but can be placed on the inactive list. League rules mandate that Jackson has to be on the "active" list for the first 5 games even tho he's suspended, so the Warriors will have 11 players available. I still wouldn't expect Wright to play much if at all in those games.

The Warriors are really going to miss JRich's heart, leadership and rebounding. He wasn't much of a defender most of the time, so they won't miss that.

Aldridge is playing great. Barring injury, he's a leading candidate for Most Improved Player. He could average 18 ppg.

Turned into a pretty good game and yes Aldridge is a real player.

Although you never got the idea that the Spurs were going to lose the game

This is wierd the way the Warriors are introducing their team. The players are coming out of the stands. They don't know how to pronounce Croshere. it is not CroSHERE.

Al is not starting, neither is Cro. Who is that guy from KY

Fantastic use of a little-known instrumental from 2001.

CBS March Madness is close when you get the right announcers, but c'mon, it's not like they do all that much that's special. I mean, that product pretty much sells itself. LG's mom could broadcast that on her webcam and it would still be great.

I don't think anyone knows how to pronounce it. I'm pretty sure that's the way Reggie says it.

Kirilenko is the perfect counterattack against a small ball team like the Warriors. He's long and quick. He can stay with the smaller, quicker players.

He'd also look pretty damn good ON a small ball team himself.

He doesn't look as good against conventional team, tho. The Warriors generally make him look very good.

OMG!! Anybody watching the Lakers-Rockets game?! Did you guys saw what just happened!?? Mcgrady lost the ball and it flyed into between Kwame Brown and Luke Walton who tryed to grab the ball... they couldnt decide who was gona grab it so they do it together, so the ball bounced between their hands and then flyed up high in air and bounced of the glass and swish in their own basket! hahaha Its hard to explain, but you have to see it! So funny

I love how Nelson waited until he was down 20 in the 4th quarter to try Belinelli...

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Sweet; I didn't know that. One more thing to look forward to in the next 1-2 years when I go all HD.

Funny, aren't their players usually running INTO the stands?

    I couldn't help it.
