And that is why you don't foul leading by three at the end of the game. The refs called the foul in the act of shooting and Lebron hit three FT's

DA just got borderline KO'ed in this Celtics/Nets game. Posey lowered his shoulder a little bit as Darryl was running through the lane on a cut and ran right into him. He was down for a full commercial break, but walked off the court on his own power -- although he looked pretty concussed.

Meanwhile, Boston might hold Jersey under 70 points. They're up by 23.

No Chauncey Billups tonight, no Rasheed Wallace tonight, no Rodney Stuckey...

If Golden State can't get a win tonight, they're in trouble.

TMac just left this Rocket/Kobe game at half time and went to the hospital for an MRI on his elbow. They called it an "elbow strain" and I think it was his left.

Warriors fall to 0-6. They had a 22-point lead in the 2nd quarter and faltered down the stretch. Sheed had some nice moments in the 4th but he was bound to - they feed him in the post every trip down. Still a nice performance from Sheed though.

One more loss remaining until Sunday for the Warriors.

At this point I don't even know if you can say Baron Davis is the most important player on that team. It's been that bad.

I was at the Warriors-Pistons game tonight. The Warriors right now just aren't very good.

The two young guys they relied on to keep the ship float last year before the big trade (Biedrins and Ellis) have really regressed and are playing poorly.

Guys like Baron, Al, Azubuike and
Barnes are playing about as well as you can reasonably expect them to, but with no Jackson and their bench vets (Hudson and Croshere) injured, it's basically a 6 man rotation for them
with two of those guys playing rather poorly. The rookies just aren't ready.

The Warriors may yet recover, but it could be too late by the time they do. Jackson's suspension could not have come at a worse time, as their schedule to open the year has just been brutal. Everyone they've played so far has been a very good team.

The Pistons are still very much a contender. Just a veteran bunch who know what to do. They're going to be a team to deal with when it's all said and done (just as they have for the past 4-5 years in a row).

BTW, for all the talk about what a great system Detroit runs, they've got a lot of individual talent. A lot of people overlook that.

A lot of people forget how big, skilled and talented Rasheed is. People think of him for his volatility, but fact is he's as skilled as any bigman out there and he can get his shot over almost anyone. And even without Chauncey on the floor, Prince and Hamilton are still good enough to get off their own shot if they absolutely need to.

I've heard lot of people talk about how Dunleavy could be Indy's version of Prince, or that they are players of the same vein. Sorry, but there is just no comparison. I could only wish that Dunleavy turned out to be the player Prince is. Prince is just a real solid, smart guy who also happens to be a great defender and athletic guy who can punish a bad/undersized opponent. That's what Dunleavy has never been able to do. He's never been able to impose his advantages on his opponent the way Prince does. Prince doesn't just play the game the right way, he plays to his advantages and can do it over and over again to his opponent. He's really the type of guy every team wants at least one of on their team.

Same, but I've also been able to walk out of there in the midst of a hellish green sea of Boston fans with my Pacers jersey proudly displayed.

I don't like seeing them happy.

well they are down by 1 - i can't believe I'm rootin' for the Heat right now - but nothing would be better than to deflate the big three

Ugh, Wade's shot wasn't even close. I've never been a fan of having somebody dribble in the same spot for about 15 seconds and then expecting him take a shot and be in any sort of rhythm.

Any superstitious people notice that the Colts set the tone for the Pacers

    10/28 Colts 31 - Panthers 7 - Colts remain undefeated
Pacers beat Wizards, Heat, Grizzlies and Pacers remain undefeated

    11/4 Colts 20 - Patriots 24 - Colts lose via collapse
Pacers lose to Clippers, Bobcats, Nuggets via collapse

    11/11 Colts 21 - Chargers 23 - Colts lose a sloppy game
Pacers lose to Celtics, Wizards, Raptors.

I bet they lose to the Jazz and win after the colts beat the Chiefs.

It sucks watching the other team pick on your 3rd and 4th string PGs.

Yeah, the Pistons would've had this game if Billups was playing. And Rip was getting mugged throughout the game. The Lakers just got hot in the end. Still, they didn't win by much. I think the Pistons take the next game.

After calming down a bit, it was our own fault we lost the game. Yes, the calls sucked and we didn't have either of our PGs, but that's the way the breaks go. We had a chance to pull away and screwed up.

That said, the fact Garrison didn't even ATTEMPT to get out of the way of that ball sailing into row 3 was absurd. He could have easily avoided it, and should definitely be fined for standing there and body-blocking it back in play for a basket.
