Default Keeper League Poisition Vote: Should Dirk Nowitzki be a C/F

Dirk Nowitzki definitely plays Center as a secondary position. Here is the justification for this case.

    1) 82games.com lists Nowitzki as playing Center as a secondary position. As the line indicates he plays 9% of the Center minutes for Dallas.

    2. According to ESPN's 2008 draft packet Nowitzki plays Center.
"Positions get weird in the NBA -- is Nowitzki center-eligible? He starts at forward and plays on the perimeter but occasionally lines up at center."
    http://sports.espn.go.com/fantasy/ba...ory?id=3058918

    3. Look at the Mavericks other options at Center. You have Erick Dampier, DeSagana Diop, and DJ Mbenga. According to 82games.com Dampier play 48% of the Center minutes, Diop played 37% and Mbenga played 1%. that leave 14% that isn't covered. At least 9% of which is covered by Dirk.
    http://www.82games.com/0607/06DAL15C.HTM Dampier
    http://www.82games.com/0607/06DAL16C.HTM Diop
    http://www.82games.com/0607/06DAL13C.HTM Mbenga

    4. Other sites that list him as a Center

    1. Rotoworld.com

    2. hoops.ws- The site we used to use for the league still has him as a C/F
    "Dirk Nowitzki FC DAL 78 35.6 1916 24.6 692 8.9 263 3.4 52 0.7 62 0.8 167 44.2 1.24"

Thats one thing where I wish they would have handled better was the situation with Roy, West said. Ill be honest with you, that bothered me a little bit, and I told Roy that. Im the type of guy who feels like were all in this fight together and Im not designed in that way to put it all on one guy. That did rub me the wrong way. That threw me off. I started reading some of that stuff, I started thinking, Whoaa. I just didnt feel good about that. I told Roy that it bothered me, that hes still my teammate"

I've always thought that Nowitzki playing center was laughable, I just don't think that's where he plays at all.

Oh sorry, disregard my vote, I'm not in the Keeper League, I misread the title of the thread.

Sorry, I object on 2 grounds.

    1) Dirk is about as pure a forward as a pure forward can be. He's a forward he will never once be listed as the starting center of his team.

    2) This should have been a public poll and it's already been spoiled by one ABA player, and maybe more.

How do you explain Sports.ws ranking him as a C/F then?

Note: He is currently be voted in as a C/F in the ABA league. How is this league any different?
