I figure we might as well go ahead and get things started just in case anyone's around - any picks we take care of tonight will get us finished quicker tomorrow. Just make your picks in this thread.
One caution - I know in the past we've been able to finish this draft in between 2 and 3 hours. I don't expect it to be that quick this year. Every pick will have to be made manually - no contingency lists that a computer can instantaneously use. If we're lucky we might get done in 5. My guess is it'll take closer to 7 or 8.
Draft rules are simple - you can pick anyone not on the protected list I sent out last week. I'd recommend someone in the NBA - picking Jessica Alba might seem like a good idea but it's not that sort of fantasy league. Starting at 8 a.m. tomorrow there will be a 15 minute clock to select, time beginning when the previous owner picks. Up to that time, there's no clock.
And finally, I have received just one list from owners who can't be here tomorrow - and it was a very good list with very specific instructions. If you need me to draft for you, please get those to me before 8 AM tomorrow.
I'm going to also open a draft discussion thread. I don't really care if you chat in this thread but if something important comes up - you make a trade (yes, with the start of the draft trading season is back) or someone drafts a player on the protected list - please post it on that discussion thread so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.
The draft order is listed below - have fun.

I sent you my list Rim. Scratch off one name. Dang! I thought he would drop to 16.
me tooo, would have been a nice pick up
I'm here and ready to roll even if i am like 2 hours to early... it's 8:44Pm on a sat night down here which borders on sad for me, I should be stalking my ex girlfriend instead of sitting on th inttternettt
I thought he would have dropped down to the second round with that injury.. Brave Choice at Two Amsterdam...
It was a no-brainer to me. Would have picked Durant if he were available, offcourse. But, for the long term I'm taking a gamble on Oden.
Either way one good player won't fix my team, so I'm not even THAT down on having him do nothing on my roster... I AM much more worried about some other guys that play important roles on my team (Villanueva, David Lee, Speedy Claxton, Etan Thomas and Shaun Livingston) and that I want to make decisions on keeping or dealing this season.
I'm here for the longrun .

We now have a clock and Dr. Badd is on it - I'm figuring on an average of 7-8 minutes/pick which calculates out to (hmmm - 60 picks which is convenient) about 7-8 hours to finish - minus half an hour or so for what's done already.
You're up Chill - just to be clear, if someone misses, we don't skip him entirely - he can jump in whenever. If two people happen to pick the same player at the same time it'll just be whose post appears first.
