So you agree that the Colts have had a relatively easy schedule..and after this Cowboys game, an equally easy schedule to the Patriots right?..of course the only difference being the Patriots win by 20+ points a game.
I didn't agree with, disagree with, or centrally address anything in your post. I simply said that even your post is taken at face value, I see nothing in there indicating my above post to be any sort of mis-statement.

It's nothing personal that leads me to not want to get into the detail of your post, I just have too much reading to do, and have to spend so much of my life hearing about how "they fahking pahts are the greatest fahking team in fahking history" that I really don't want to delve too much into it in the one website I enjoy that has nothing to do with mens rea. I fear my general contempt for the New England region, and more centrally Boston, will be manifested in any sort of post I would write.

Understandable. And if it's any consolation, I hate a lot of Pats fans myself...especially around the Boston area. (I have relatives up there and I've been to a few games at Foxborough)

I appreciate your candor and understanding. If I DO have time at some point this week and you want my feelings on the topic currently being discussed, I will try to weigh in. But keep in mind I'm only talking about through Week 5 as I can't say anything either way about what has not happened yet today.

What kind of horrible defense was that? No pressure on the QB, and nobody defending the 1st down mark.

Amn, Allas's receivers are painfully slow.

No question the Pats are a phenomenal team, and fully capable of not only running the table but beating the Colts by double digits on a neutral field (or in Indy). But the Colts are seemingly the only team approximating New England's per play dominance in the average game, and likely the only team that could in turn beat the Pats on a neutral field (or Gillette Stadium) by double digits too. Hard to characterize the one or two bounces that could make the difference in a game between the two teams in a series of sound bytes. November 4th can't get here soon enough, even if the Colts have lost one or two by then.

Allas's offense is picking up way too many penalties.

The Cowboys are picking apart NE* now with a bunch of short pass gains, not unlike those that PM specializes in.

That was a freaking push out, not even close. What .

TD Dallas. We might actually have a game here. But can the Cowboys keep up with no running game?

What happened? I stepped away for a few minutes and came back and Dallas had scored a TD.

That most certainly was NOT pass interference. That's TWO that NE* has gotten away with today.

That was amazing. Should have been a safety about six times.

Dallas is giving this game away with one dumbass penalty after another. Amazing.

I can't stress enough how bad the Cowboys' defense is. Reminds me a lot of the Colts' regular season defense last year. Ugh.

What a classless play by the Pats there at the end.

No it was a courageous and gutsy play. Truly a great call, only because it was the Pats. If it had been any other team, then it would have been classless...

And if any other NFL team or player says that, then the Patriots and all media who love (for now) the Patriots will just dig up all the dirt on whomever speaks up, instead of analyzing the play in question. Accusing the accuser instead of deal with current events.

You know, I don't think I've ever felt such annoyance over a team until the Patriots. They are the bane of humanity's existence.

Well whatever. Let them talk all they want about New England. When they come to town, we'll prove to the world, again, why we have just a good a team. While watching this game, I have little doubt Manning will do just fine against their defense.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Right. I'm confident our offense will score enough on them. I'm not so confident about our defense holding them under 30 points. I have the feeling that the Colts are a legitimate champion-level/quality team that's worthy of winning a Superbowl again this year, but that unfortunately is facing one of those rare Juggernaut teams that goes beyond the usual level of a champion. Doesn't mean we can't win, but it does mean we're the underdog in the matchup.

Sorry, did you want a field goal instead?
