Default Dallas at Buffalo - Monday Night Football - 10/8/07

    Dallas currently trails 17-7.

Romo, I think has thrown 3 INT's. I had a good feeling that Buffalo was going to come out and play hard tonight. Looks like I'm right so far.

Dallas doesn't scare me and shouldn't scare any AFC team.

Wow...so I missed Thanksgiving dinner back home AND the game of the year to read a bunch of case law. Awesome! It's times like this where I wish I was a better procrastinator.

What a game. Even with 6 TOs, Romo manages to get them into FG range.

This is a BACKBREAKER for Buffalo. It has got to hurt.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

The sequence at the end of this game gave me a win in fantasy football this week.

After picking up Kenton Keith mid-week, I was 13 points down going into Monday night. My sole remaining player was another free-agent acquisition -- Nick Folk.

My opponent had Roscoe Parrich, who picked up three points. Nick Folk gave me 16 points with that last field goal -- a 5-point 50-yarder -- and I picked up a .55-point 'W'.

I'd like to thank Terrell Owens, who dropped a pass that would've put Dallas in field-goal range -- 40-yard, 4-fantasy point range.

Who knew my two highest scorers would be wire fodder just days before?

Tony Romo is a god, six turnovers and all ...

My sequence was better: I was down 40+ points with just Lee Evans left, and he caught 1 pass for 12 yards
    That'll do.

Those are Evans usual statistics. Not sure what is surprising about that.

And that game was pretty funny. Dallas is much better then they showed...but for the past 2 weeks they have underplanned. They sleptwalk through the first half of the St. Louis game and were lucky that St. Louis also played horribly.

Just because Dallas is "good by NFC standards" does not mean that they are good.
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

I have followed the NFL for 40 years. This could well be the most undeserved win and the most ridiculous loss I have ever seen.

Unfortunately growing up in a household where my dad is HUGE Bills fan, I have seen more than my fair share of ridiculous Buffalo loses.....

Unfortunately for them, the broken cervical spine came in Game #1. We saw them in Game #2, and you could see they were just shell-shocked - going through the motions.

I'm sure last night's game didn't help their confidence/ mental state at all.
