Reports: Lakers' Brown Charged In Ga. Incident
    October 3, 2007 - 3:46 am
    ESPN -
Los Angeles Lakers forward Kwame Brown was charged with disorderly conduct and interference with a law enforcement officer after an incident at 2 a.m. ET last Saturday, according to multiple media reports.

Brown was the passenger in a car driven by a 23-year-old Charles Edward Warren. He was detained because officers said he was out of control after they pulled over Warren for driving the wrong way on a one-way street. Police said Warren was driving drunk and with a suspended license.

"[Brown] would have been interfering with the investigation the officer was trying to conduct at that time," said Lt. Bobbi McGraw of the Valdosta Police. [READ]

We never wanted Brown to begin with. Pacers want Odom and Bynum - that is what they were and have been holding out for. So no it wouldn't have been another Pacers incident

For the most part the only reason to get Kwame was for that nice fat expiring contract. He could still be in a trade deadline deal if the Pacers crash and burn this season.
