    Exclamation Eagles vs. Lions

Philly jumped out to a 35-7 lead in the first 20 minutes of the game, and now Detroit has added a pair of touchdowns to make it 35-21 with five minutes still left in the first half. Move over Cleveland/Cincy...

What's Donavan Mcnabb's QB rating after THAT monster of a game? You won't hear me criticizing him after that one.
    That'll do.

he was playing the Lions defense. If there isn't an asterisk next to it, there should be.

Megatron made a spectacular catch, and gets hurt on the fall. We have no luck at all.

This doesn't mean that much. The colts could probably put up 60 on these guys.

I was at the game, in the end zone row 6. Amazing. The Lions never had a chance. I dont care what you say about how bad the Lions D is, they still put up 56 on them which is the highest score by any team this season so far. Our D stepped up especially in the 2nd half by shutting them out. Detroit did have the most explosive offense in the first two weeks of the season. When your best DB and your FS is out to hold such an explosive offense to 21 is pretty good in my book.

they were explosive until Calvin Johnson got hurt. Then it suddenly became very easy to stop the Lions in the red zone without their 6'5" WR.

The Lions have a terrible defense and Philly isn't going anywhere this season either. They won't play an opponent that beatable for the rest of the season.

Doubt it, the Eagles should be 3-0. They lost to the Packers on a muffed punt(and the packers arent a bad team at all, just beat San Diego and killed the Giants) and on Monday Night the Eagles were inside the 10 4 times and walked away with three FG's and nothing on their very last drive. The timing was off in the first two games, thats what happens when your QB is coming back from ACL surgery. Anyone who knows the Eagles is that they typically start off slow. Last time they started 0-2 they ended up playing in the NFC Championship. Im not worried at all. Plus we face plenty of beatable opponents, the vikings, NYG, NYJ are just three that come to my head.

Pretty easy to stop a great offense when their offensive line isn't blocking. The Lions allowed 9 sacks, and that wasn't because the Eagles defense was doing a great job pass rushing.

I heard he had a perfect QB rating for game. Wow! Just think what a great performance that would have been if he had been white!!!

Yeah, he isn't white so that game doesn't count.

I said the last time the Eagles started 0-2, which was in 2003, they went to the NFC Championship. Check it out.

McNabb did have a perfect passer rating. He only threw 5 incompletions. He was 21-26, 381 yards and 4 tds.

While Detroits line was horrible, the Eagles did have to do something to get 9 sacks. You dont just get 9 sacks.

Alright, I misunderstood you, and I agree, the entire Eagles team had a very good game. No matter what team you're playing 50+ points and 9 sacks is incredible.
    That'll do.
